The registry was a poorly thought out measure founded on emotional reactions. It's a terrible idea and serves irreparable harm to rehabilitatable offenders. It was made in response to a child being victimized by a second time offender, but it wasn't made to do anything productive besides ostracizing any sex offender from a community.
