Yes, i am well aware of that. Before they do a breath test, they do a sobriety test. Which takes a bit of time, to allow the effects of them using breath freshener or cold meds that would effect the results of a breath test. IF THATS WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. No it's not pointless and time wasting. It has some very valid indicates of alcohol intoxication. My point was, that if the suspect had used mouthwash or consumed cold medicine then the effects of this would have worn off by the time the officer used a roadside breath test.

The reason they do the field sobriety test is to allow time to pass to remove the effects of the suspect having potentially used mouthwash or cold medicine prior to doing the roadside breath test. These substances contain alcohol and contaminate the breath test. I watched a YouTuber called Audit the Audit yesterday on this very subject.

That 2nd guy who was sat at the table laughing is a peice of shit! He sat there, watched while she was getting pummeled buy multiple assailants and just laughed. It was only after someone else waded in and started defending her did he decide to get up, and to be honest, it looked like he only stepped in to try and restrain the other bloke.
