Also there was a quarantine in place and no one was working. Supply and demand determines gas prices. Trump pandemic, no one going to work, low demand, high supply which equals low prices. Currently everyone is back to work, higher demand, and they're having problems delivering fuel because of a lack of drivers, low supply, hence higher prices Or maybe you could point out exactly what biden has done that raised fuel prices?

I agree 100%, Anthony Hopkins killed it in The Father. The last couple of years it's no longer about what is the best picture but the best picture that has diversity. And by 2024 it will even be worse. You can't even be nominated otherwise.

It has never been a popularity contest, rarely does the #1 box office movie actually win the best picture. Mentioning its box office performance during a pandemic when no one could see it in a theatre is just laughable. I watch all the best picture nominations every year and I liked this one or The Father as best picture. Personally, I couldn't tell you the difference between a well-directed movie and a bad one. But they can and the winner was someone who directed the winner of best picture. Kin…

your numbers are off. i believe he says he had sex 16 times on the first date. There were several 2nd and 3rd dates in which he may have had sex. Also there's some that over 7+ dates and most likely had sex with them.

Seems fair to me, whats the problem? She'd rather be single than settle with someone who doesn't meet her standards. Frankly, I'm the same way.

Also there is no incetive for the goverment to do this. They don't care how child support is spent, they just want to make the sure the mother is not receiving wellfare.

Mine bought a house. TBF it was a smart decision. It was in NE Portland, in a real shitty neighborhood at the time. She paid around $10000 for it. She had me with one father and three others with a different father who wasn't very responsible. My father was in the military and she received $99 a month child support. She could count on that money coming in. So she made sure the house payments were $100, that way no matter what happened we at least had a roof over our heads. I don't remember the d…

Good point. I can see that. For me it was the typical, "happy accident", but in most cases you're right, you'd better be damn sure.

True to a point. I turn 61 this week. What I valued 40 years ago is a lot different then what I value now. I was OP didn't really think of having kids one way or another. Ended up with two. Besides getting divorced they are the best thing that ever happened to me. I just can't stand hearing about women who go out of their way to take a father away from her children, usually out of spite or selfishness.

You say only because it turned out badly. If it had turned out the kid was awesome and he was glad he'd made the decision you'd be singing a different tune.

In most states the age of consent is 18. The law has decided that by that age you understand the consequences of you actions. Before that you are a minor and cannot give your consent. Therefore sex between a 12 year old and a 20 year old is rape. Consenual sex between a 36 year old an a 18 year old is not rape. As the article states she was charged with improper relationship between educator and student. She was not charged with rape because no rape had occurred. If he was not a student at her s…

Correct. That's my point. If he was 18 then it would be an inappropriate relationship, not rape. I've skimmed through several articles, none mention the male claiming he was raped or that it was not consensual.

it was at a High School. it is possible he was 18, therefore it was inappropriate but not rape.

"women need to use the bathroom more often because our urethra is shorter." Uh... that makes no sense. Urine is held in the bladder not the urethra. Since my urethra is longer, shouldn't it take longer to drain, therefore I would need to spend more time in the bathroom?

but prosecuting her and telling the details of the case to her housing leaders is beyond unprofessional. Id have to watch it again but I don't think the police did, I believe she told them. "They never processed the kit, mostly because the foster mother said she was acting’s funny. They never investigated the foster mother to see what their relationship was like. They took her word." They didn't need to process the kit, it was only days later that the stupid foster mom came to them. Once she cam…

Change "her" to "him" and change rape to anything else, like armed robbery. would you have the same reaction? He was robbed at gunpoint. There was no physical evidence. His father said he's the type to lie to get attention. The police interview him again, he lies and says "No, I wasn't robbed." Come to find out he lied, he actually was robbed. Would you pay him $150K?? Police "Marie, is there a rapist out there?" Marie, "No." WOW!! what if she had actually told the truth?!? They were investigati…

she lied about being raped. If she had told the truth everything would have been different and we wouldn't have had to pay her $150K. She lied about her rape. When it was proven she lied she blamed the police and sued. City ended up paying her $150K. Fucking ridiculous! She should have gone to jail.

none whatsoever except common sense. Lets look at her statement: "...Facebook attempted to BAN me from THEIR platform.." why would they attempt to do that and not just ban her from Facebook? it's their service they can ban anyone for anything at any time. This is supposedly for "posting statistics of father absence in the black community." That's pretty common fact, isn't it? Certainly isn't controversial it's just a fact. I've seen a lot worse on facebook that didn't get banned. "...Facebook co…
