It matters because the vast majority of men will not put up with it.

You ought to read the Declaration rather than a summary on Encyclopedia Britannica. Here is one point: "He has created a false public sentiment by giving to the world a different code of morals for men and women, by which moral delinquencies which exclude women from society, are not only tolerated but deemed of little account in man." Even back in the First Wave, feminists were already promoting the sexual revolution and licencious behaviour, to match the supposed privilege of men who could act …

The ideas of the new feminists were present in the manifestos of the old. They were just less overt. Go read the Declaration of Sentiments and then tell me that the old and new feminists are different. You are gravely mistaken if you thought First Wave Feminism was all sunshine and rainbows of fighting for universal suffrage and legal equality.

Aristotle says there three kinds of friendships. Friends of utility, friends of pleasure, and friends of virtue. Friends of utility are predicated on use; that is, what my friend can do for me. Example: Being friends with someone so you can use their car. Friends of pleasure are predicated on pleasure; that is, friends who please me. Example: Being friends with someone because they please you by often making you laugh. Friends of virtue are predicated on virtue; that is, friends who share virtuo…

The title is misleading. The report is on how to support male victims of crimes that are normally considered violence against women and girls.

Fidelity to the people, culture, homeland, and society that sustained and nurtured you and your family, and inculcated you with many gifts that you take for granted, is a virtue. If justice is giving to each what he is due, then as a matter of justice you owe a debt of gratitude to your society.

Blows my mind when single moms try to equate having a child full time is on par with a girl having a dog or something. They really can’t wrap their head around how it is a deterrent? She even said she doesn’t like to go out and have fun anymore, you would be able to get “quality time” once every month or so when she can get a babysitter, the list goes on. It's also disturbingly dehumanizing. As if to say: she who is born of me is like a pet. Its also why she got pregnant; because to her, sex is …

I don't just mean moral virtue - though that is important as well. I also mean intellectual virtue. I'm willing to bet that the majority of good honest kids you've seen went to public school. Public school plants the seed, and university causes it to sprout. That's why I am going to homeschool my kids. And if society hasn't collapsed in the future, and universities are still around, I would send my children to a proper Catholic University (if they want to go to university) like Christendom Colle…

At this point the vast majority of colleges and universities are nothing more than indoctrination centers. As Dennis Prager says, sending your children to college is playing Russian roulette with their values. This is only true if parents don't form their children's consciences and beliefs from birth. If your children's intellects have been properly formed, then university could be good. Especially if you take programs and courses that actually teach something of value, intellectually speaking, …

There's so many women on Catholic Match that accept few, if any of the Church Teachings. Even fewer accept the Traditional teaching on the duties of a wife.

I recommend you read Nicomachean Ethics. Aristotle talks about how living in virtue within community is the only way for us to flourish; that is, to be happy. He further argues that as virtue is a state of being, and we only have the capacity for moral virtue by nature, we must be habituated or trained in moral virtue. That is why moral education is necessary and important. I think that if parents love their child unconditionally, then parents would or should give them the best moral education p…

And that's why your unfit for parenthood. Good parents don't abandon their child if they commit a crime. They educate their child so that they don't commit crimes. If a child does commit a crime, they allow the justice system to work, and then embrace their child when they come out.

That's... Disturbing. Please - as the other commenter said - don't have children. If you aren't willing to sacrifice for your child, but instead would abandon them, you would not be a good parent.

You also said you would abandon your child if you couldn't afford them? I hope you mean that you would give your child up for adoption, or to foster care or a family member, not "abandon them". I also hope you mean that you would only do so if it is impossible for you to raise your child. Regardless, it's contrary to justice to abandon your child just because your husband leaves you.
/r/AntiFeminists10/02/22 05:34 AM

Because it's your child? Neither parent should be allowed to abandon or murder or neglect their child.

They are saying that western society teaches women not to experience their sexuality to the point that they might as well as be genitally mutilated. The irony is that it is actually the opposite. Post Sexual Revolution Western Society teaches people to "explore their sexuality" at a young age.

The irony is that men in China statistically outnumber women by many millions of people, due to the one-child policy. So if a man can't get married, he has less blame as his chances of marriage are artificially lower than they should be. But if a woman can't get married, that's completely on her, as she has so many options to choose from.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen01/02/22 08:15 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
