So if women generally don't call out other women when they are hateful to men is it safe to assume women don't really care about that since that isn't something they are standing up against?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 06:10 PM

Then I'm failing to understand the point of your comments if you know people can talk online and do things offline to help
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 06:08 PM

What type of evidence would you be looking for? I couldn't possibly provide enough examples that couldn't be easily dismissed due to low sample size so it seems like you're just searching for a reason to disagree without thinking about it
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 05:00 PM

Ok so using your logic, since you are here on your screen you don't actually want to fix anything. In that case there's really no point in having a discussion with you.

Your comment was directly comparing male presence in female spaces to male activism as a whole so I'm questioning how you how involved you are in male activism that would allow you to make that claim.

I personally believe the majority of people on both genders argue in good faith, also it's much easier to people arguing in good faith to be able to support their thoughts without resorting to straight up attacking the opposite gender. Generally most bad faith people are very easy to spot.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 04:38 PM

So I can assume based on this comment you don't think men should call out other men arguing in bad faith just to shit on women?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 04:36 PM

To indulge you, if I changed the name to male advocacy individuals would address the comment in the spirit in which it was written?

Are you an active member in the men's rights community? it would be really hard to determine there are more men in women's spaces than men's spaces without really integrating yourself into both communities

If you agree some women are like this why would you want proof? It doesn't need to be the majority of women acting in bad faith if the majority of women fail to call out these people acting in bad faith

Easier to identify good faith actors to facilitate discussion if bad actors are consistently called out

When women say shitty things about other women and some LGBT folks they lose support. Women by and large can be shitty to men (as a group) and not lose support.

Male issues like suicide have been getting increasingly more attention and focus thanks to the efforts of men who actually care about the issue starting the advocacy in male spaces

Never claimed women don't help other women. Didn't even make a claim about which gender is more likely to want to help their gender. My claim is that there is a noticeable amount of women that care more about hating men than helping women and that these women are helping poison the well on gender discussion and that they aren't getting called out by fellow women.

Have you considered that the only men that go into women's spaces to talk about men's issues are the bad faith actors? Do you think it's possible that there are far more men who genuinely care about fixing men's issues who don't go into women's spaces to discuss it because they know that wouldn't be a productive space to discuss?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 03:26 PM

I went out of my way to specify multiple times that I don't think this applies to all women. It is more than evident that there are women (and men) that care deeply about fixing issues.

Men face consequences, you just don't want to acknowledge them because that would involve you being able to put yourself in a man's shoes. A man who believes life begins at conception could be devastated his child was killed. In the theoretical case of paternal surrender a man will have to deal with the consequences of having no right to see his child. Just to be clear I am very pro choice for both women and men.

What an insane question. I would never want someone I love to go through that much pain just so they could "understand". Any woman that would actually want their husband to go through this doesn't deserve a husband.

Yeah so believe it or not people are hesitant about giving the government the ability to easily take away their kids. The only way people will go for it is to require the government to provide a massive amount of proof the parents are incompetent. So basically to enforce forced parental surrender you need to fix 3 massive issues with society: governmental bureaucracy, the justice system, and the foster care system. Fixing any one of these 3 areas would be a massive undertaking and worthy of bein…

I'm all for the idea of free counseling, but I doubt any punishment against the parents would do anything. People in the lower economic brackets are far more likely to resort to crime in general. So trying to fix that issue will help far more people than trying to fix radicalization. What's more I'm not sure how you would actually reduce online radicalization without going full censorship mode on the internet which isn't really realistic with western free speech style laws and values. Basically solving the base issues helps more people in general, will do more to reduce radicalized by making men much…

It's much easier to radicalize an unhappy person than a happy person. Men are increasingly feeling isolated and marginalized making them prime targets for radicalization. You are only focusing on the radicalizing part when you need to also focus on the part making them feel isolated and marginalized in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 05:19 PM
9

Certainly part of the issue, but you'd be foolish to think that's the only cause or even the main cause. It would far more difficult to radicalize men if the base issues weren't there in the first place. Online radicalization exacerbates the symptoms, but isn't the cause of them.

How do you suppose these young men came to be so angry? Do you think they came out of the womb angry? Or do you think there's some systematic issues affecting these men as they grow up that cause them to feel isolated and ostracized by society with those feelings inevitably leading to anger. Do you think the best ways to solve the issue of angry young men is to solve the issues causing them to be angry? Or should we just increase the shaming and isolating them to teach them a lesson?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 03:12 PM

It's really sad that a lot of people acknowledge this is an issue but don't want to do anything to solve it. The current political climate pretty much ensures most male specific issues will get much worse before any effort is put into helping them. The left is filled with too many man haters for these issues to get any foothold of support. The right only pays lip service on these issues to piss off the left, they have no intention of doing anything to help men. Men's only real hope is that solvi…

Yes I agree I don't think written out reviews are a good idea. More along the lines of a general thumbs down, or picking from a list of common grievances like "ghosting" or " overly sexual". Also the reviews wouldn't show up on the profile until a certain number of people reported similar issues.

OLD, needs to more closely mimic how one would find a partner irl. The current swiping system only encourages low effort and unrealistic standards. An example of an improved dating app would be men/women only given 10 profiles they view all at once everyday and they can only try to match with 3 of these profiles at maximum. This would encourage mento raise their standards and put more effort into every match and discourage unrealistic standards from women. I also think there should be able to "r…

It's pretty easy to make arguments that fathers forced to participate in their unwanted children's lives can cause harm, children in poor households should still recieve enough support from the government to reasonably care for the children. I also wanted to point out that paternal surrender isn't unnatural either. Also wanted to point out that paternal surrender could result in a lower burden to the taxpayers when accounting for unwanted children that will no longer be born to poor parents as w…

Men have been trying to abandon their unwanted children since forever as well. Just as we strive to make it easier for women to get abortions, we should make it easier for men to use parental surrender. I'm terms of taxes, does that mean you're ok with psternal surrender if the woman is wealthy enough? After all no taxes would go to them since they have enough money to care for the child by themselves. Also we are already ok with paying for other people's children so long as the parents income i…

Abortion isn't a natural biological process. Women don't have an inherent natural right to abortion. Abortion is a medical procedure that society determines if women have a right to have access to. Paternal surrender should also be a right conveyed to men by society (in certain situations). For the record I am very much pro choice.

Comparing male and female attractiveness is pointless, you're trying to compare 2 different populations that are being judged under different standards. It's like trying to say one group of kids is smarter than another by comparing one classes history grades to the others math grades. Men find women more attractive simply because of their own biology and hormones, not any inherent female attractiveness. If you jacked up all women with testosterone they'd suddenly find men much more attractive wi…

You are explicitly misrepresenting what I wrote in order to justify your opinion. My comment was about "politely approached in a safe environment" you commented about "loners who follow women around the stores and parks" Do you see how these are 2 different situations?

I feel like trying to compare male and female attractiveness is an effort in futility. You have 2 different populations, being judged by different populations with different criteria. Yep, everyone already send to know and agree how men are socially stunted today, this is just the women's equivalent. While I do think the environment in which women get approached in matters a lot, many women here seem to be arguing its normal to feel uncomfortable being approached in any environment. It's one thing to be annoyed about being approached in a safe environment, but being uncomfortable means you have issues you need to work though.

I think this topic really demonstrates the way in which women today are socially stunted. Having large amounts of anxiety, stress, and fear when being politely approached in a safe environment is not healthy and should not be seen as normal.

I don't think I'll ever understand how women can love, marry, and have children with men they never feel visceral attraction to. Like I'm not expecting average women to be viscerally attracted to every average man, just the man she loves. Also not like she has to constantly feel this level of sexual attraction, just on occasion would be reasonable enough. If average men can feel this type of sexual attraction to average women, why can't women feel the same to average men that they also love and …

Seems like an exaggeration to me. Women have always been far pickier than men which will lead to them leaning towards unrealistic. But when the dating culture is focused on relationships instead of casual sex and the internet doesn't let them have such a large pool of dating options their expectations as a group will be far more reasonable

This is only partially true, because these trends before the internet became popular and popular culture were talking about the decline in dating, back in the early 70s. That people did not need to couple, anymore, because of changing attitudes in sex, dating, and independence. You don't need to marry someone to have sex or children with, I didnt mean to imply the internet was the only cause, just the main one in terms of whats causing issues today. The rise of the internet is really the main cause for several different reasons. People are becoming poorly socialized due to excessive internet usage. It can be hard and sometimes unpleasant for people to go out and expose themselves to the outside world of which they have little control. It's much easier and safer to just Netflix binge, obsess over social media, play video games, and watch porn. Basically while having fun irl is better, it's a gamble that you sometimes lose. You're being far too simplistic in trying to find one singular reason for the issues with the modern dating culture. It's a complex problem with lots of causes, some of which aren't very obvious. There is no 1 reason that is the primary cause for today's dating issues. For example, by all accounts dating in the 90s and early 2000s was much better than it is today. Women weren't financially dependant on men during those years. How would you explain dating getting worse compared to the 90s and ear…

Women not wanting sex as much as men has nothing to do with overpopulation. Human pregnancy was very risky for women and for the vast majority of human history sex = pregnancy. Women's sex drives evolved to avoid the risk of pregnancy unless the quality of the male partner was high enough to make the risk worth it.

I would say it depends on what type of relationship it is and the level of hotness of the guy. If it's a casual relationship then women would prefer to share a hot guy than getting 100% attention from an average guy. If it's a serious relationship then most women will not share. You will need to truly top tier man to be able to consistently get into serious relationships where the woman is ok "sharing". Think rich, famous, professional athlete or actor.

If you think the okcupid study is bad then you should also be arguing with the OP for using it to support their beliefs. Look at the last study in the OP, women are found more attractive than men. On an individual level, men are attracted to more women than women are to men. It should be no surprise that women "disagree" on physical attractiveness more than men given this. If a man finds 40% of women attractive, they're far more likely to have common ground with other men who also find 40% of women attractive compared to women who individually may find less than 10% of men attractive. But just because individual women have more diverse tastes in men does not mean you can say women as a wh…

Well this is definitely a phenomenon happening on dating apps, and shouldn't be dismissed just because it's online. It is becoming increasingly more common to meet people via dating apps. How attraction works on dating apps is important. IRL dating will look different for a multitude of reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 03:57 PM

Yes female attraction is concentrated at the top, but there is a big difference between simply being concentrated at the top vs being only attracted to the top.

The 80/20 rule has to be one the most misunderstood topics, people on both sides keep getting it wrong. It does NOT mean that 80% of women are only pursuing 20% of men. It means 80% of female attraction is directed towards 20% of men. There is a rather large difference. For an example if a normal woman was attracted to 10 men, 8 of them would be in the 20% while 2 of them would be in the 80%. Individual women are attracted to far less than 20% of the male population. Men in the 20% have an easie…

If people actually used the definition of toxic masculinity that you described, I don't think there would be nearly as much pushback as there currently is. Unfortunately the term seems to have been co-opted to mean "man does something I don't like" which is obviously going to generate a lot of pushback.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/21 12:38 PM

Plus however many more over 18 year old men are dating under 18 women compared to over 18 women dating under 18 men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 09:05 PM

Never made any claim about how willingly/knowingly women shared men. Just that the evidence points to something in that direction. Feel free to show me that there's ~3.6 million more women dating women than men dating men between 18-29. Would change my mind
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 06:37 PM

But you aren't offering any evidence, all you're saying is a bunch of maybe's. While the present data is incomplete, it supports my position more than yours. All you're saying is maybe there's a lot of lesbians/bissexual women dating eachother and maybe they have much much lower singleness that average LGBT because male LGBT have much much higher singleness and that maybe thats enough to make up for the discrepancy that I calculated.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 05:23 PM

Its the fact single men outnumber single women more than the population difference between men and women. A lot more in fact. The post disproved it was because of age gap. Also according to the first source LGBT are much more single than straight.

TL;DR: Age gap relationships make up less than half of the difference between young men vsyoung women singleness difference. I've seen plenty of people claim the singleness differences between young men and women is mostly the result of age gap relationships. Basically that women dating men in the unaccounted for older age brackets is the main cause of the difference. But when you crunch the numbers it doesn't make sense. /r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 04:59 PM

I can do that, but my understanding of that mega thread was that it was discussing the acceptability/workings of age gap relationships. This is more about the difference in singleness between genders rather than age gaps. Age gaps is just the most common explanation people gave and I wanted to disprove that explanation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 04:46 PM

When I said there are more women than men I was trying to refer to the entire population. From 18-29 there are about 1.2 million more men than women. That is partially to blame bur keep in mind I also could not account for people over 18 dating people younger than 18. It is fair to assume there are more over 18 men dating under 18 women than the reverse which will partially offset the effect. Even still, only 1.2 million more men isn't enough to explain the results.

The point I was making was that women ignore n count if the guy is hot, which high n count men usually are. If most high n women were also hot men would ignore n count a lot more.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 12:08 PM

In terms of attractiveness? Nothing. Just about any woman can get a high n count with little effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 11:40 AM
20

The studies I've seen have correlated high n count to being more likely to divorce for both men and women. Obviously this is just a likelihood and not a guarantee so it depends on the individual. But to your point on why women are judged but men aren't as much, it's because high n count for men correlates to high attractiveness. If high n count correlated to high n count for women, men would probably mostly ignore n count too.

What a person is attracted to is absolutely influenced by their experiences and environment. Some people can change what they are attracted to by gaining new experiences and changing their environment.

Settling is when a person feels like they could have gotten with a more attractive person than their current partner. If a person genuinely alters their standards and feels their current partner is the best they could get, that's not settling.

Attraction isn't negotiable but it is influencable. It's possible to convince people that they are causing themselves to have unrealistic standards by engaging in certain behaviors and activities. Interesting study and results, unfortunately I do see some issues with applying these results across the entire population. Their participants aren't exactly even a good enough sample to make conclusions about university students: "89.71% were university students with about half of them studying psychology" The study also relies on being able to accurately measure a person's intelligence, creativity, and emotional competence which seems rather difficult to do. Well women are the ones who decide what a relationship worthy man is so I can't really disagree with them if that's what they think. But I do agree there are many factors in today's society that are affecting men and women and making them less and less romantically compatible. It seems both men and women are putting low effort into trying to attract and maintain relationships with the other gender because they don't feel like the reward is worth the effort.

The more women that choose casual relationships over committed relationships, the less average/below average men will be able to achieve any sort of success in the dating scene. This is not a criticism of either gender, it's just how it is. There's not enough relationship minded women to go around for the average/below average men in the young adult dating scene.

I'm not trying to dispute that average men never got consistent casual sex. After seeing your edit asking for specific numbers, here you go. I'm focusing on just 2 age groups, over/under 50. For the sake of sanity here I'm assuming population is evenly distributed by age and not counting age gaps over 10 years since it makes a small amount of relationship age gaps. So each each age makes up 3.22% of the total population between 18 and 49. I'm subtracting the equivalent percentage of 50+ women dating under 50 men since these would have opposing effects to the relation …

Then how are you not understanding that between 18 to 49 there's roughly 50% more single men than women. The data say this. There's 60% more single men from 18 to 29, and 42% more from 30 to 49. It shouldn't take a statistics expert to get that concept.

I can combine when I'm directly comparing two percentages. I'm determining male singleness as a function of female singleness. From 18 to 49 male singleness is between 42 to 60% more than female singleness because that is exactly what the data says. It may not be exactly 50% more but it will be around that number. That's a lot more single men than women. Men don't "make up" the difference until 65+ because that's when they start dying which drives up female singleness and drives down male single…

It shows the average age difference is 2.5 years, I said 3 years. This still means approximately 40% of relationships fall somewhere on the age gap. This is the only known number: we know how many age gap relationships exist. It already accounts for most of the difference. You specifically said men were on average 3 years older than their wives. The data shows that nearly 50% of all couples are either within a year or have the women being older. Add in the husband 2-3 years older and almost 70% …

No you don't, it's really basic math to know that there's between 43% and 60% more single men than women between 18 and 49 based on the given data. The singleness is an even split because they clearly surveyed a bunch of 50+ and especially 65+ men and women. The 50 to 64 age group was fairly even split on singleness. 65+ was the only age group where single women outnumbered single men. Only by surveying a bunch of people at 65+ age range could they even out the fact they found there were way mor…

"Easy explanation" does not account for it. You need to show data that explains it. This is a nationally representative dataset with a margin of error of 2%. The dataset shows there's way more single men than women until their 50's. The last link I gave shows most couples are only a few years apart. The select under 50's women dating above 50's men does not explain that absolutely massive difference between single men and single women below 50. The only way to fully account for this massive diff…

I combined the 18-29 and 30 to 49 age groups. Keep in saying there are 50% more single men than single women. Not that 50% of men are single. Single men vastly outnumber single women until 50. Then it's even until 65 where single women outnumber single men. It's not a coincidence this the age where people start dying. Since men generally die before women and single men die before married men this results in the percentage of single men dropping the percentage of single women increasing.

How did you combine 18-29 and 30-49 to come up with 50% male singleness in this group? Since 30-49 is lower than 18-29 I'd expect it to pull the percent down. Plus you can't combine groups and get a new total percentage without the raw data to know the absolute number of singles. I didn't say 50% male singleness, I said there are 50% more single men than women in the 18-49 age group. In 18 to 29 51% men are single vs 32% of women. This means there are 60% more single men than women in that age b…

I'm not ignoring it, I explained it: it is tiered. Yes, women in their 40s dating men in their 50s, women in their 30s dating men in their 40s, etc. explains it. At every cohort approximately 40-50% of women are dating a man in the next cohort. This is why we see fewer men with partners at the low end (20s) and more men with partners at the high end (60s). You seem to be purposefully ignoring what I am saying just so you can profess your already held beliefs. By combining the 18-29 and 30-49 age…

There are actually. The age gap does not need to be large. It's every male 30 and above who is in a relationship with any woman between 20-29. With 50% of age gap relationships over 4 years of age and a cutoff of age 40, you approach 30%. With a one year age gap it's close to half or 50%. You can put these distributions on paper and line them up. Think about it another way: the average age gap is 3 years. Over 50% of women above 26 years old are dating a man 30 or above. 35% of women between 24-…

Your interpretation of the wall is more or less correct. The belief that many women turn into desperate ugly hags at 30 is just a revenge fantasy. The wall is based on some truth that women noticeably lose power in the SMP around 30 due to declining looks, increased desire for committed LTR, and introduction of younger and more attractive women. It mainly manifests in women finding it increasingly more difficult to gain affection from true HVM their age since those men can date younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/21 01:11 PM

I addressed it in my comment: this is because people date across age ranges. There are ~50% more single men than women from 18-49. That's a huge gap across a large age range. There are not enough people in large age gap relationships to account for this. They're not. You see a tiered relationship: a lot of older men date younger women. This explains the statistics just fine. Fewer single males at 60+, but a larger number below age 30. The 40-30 and 30-20 age gaps explain it. This is how the tota…

And FDS talks about the physical danger they place themselves in by associating with men. The point is both movements really don't want anything to do with the opposite gender, but it's still possible to for women to get a beta wallet while not putting in any effort in improving themselves to be more attractive to men. Men don't have the same luxury.

FDS is more similar to MGTOW, than TRP. TRP although highly flawed, at least attempts to figure out what women want in a man then figure out how to become that type of man. MGTOW and FDS pretty much tell their user base to never change for the opposite gender at all. If women weren't able to be successful dating by being passive, they would probably just completely disavow men to be exactly equivalent to MGTOW.

Yes I'm sure you'll get good objective answers to this question. Women will definitely take a nuanced take to figure out what's the cause of this growing issue that is an interaction between men and women. There's no way women will answer that men are 100% at fault and that women are completely blameless and are not contributing to the problem in any way.

I don't disagree that it makes a person more unattractive. But it makes more logical sense that a person will be more likely to become misogynistic if they face constant rejection as opposed to all these incels just being inherently misogynistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 11:51 AM

Yeah even the study they linked to said exactly that. Here's the quote: "Based on the above described findings, it is suggested that misogynistic attitudes are mainly driven by sexual frustration and that a person’s usage of pornography may not affect his sexual frustration and consequently not his misogynistic beliefs." Not sure why OP purposefully switched the cause and effect.

I agree that it's unfair to characterize all women as stupid or entitled who end up in this situation. But just as some women are purposefully led on, some women can be rather foolish in their wishful thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 10:19 PM
1

It depends on the man which is probably what causes the issues. I think some men are simply more passionate even if they are only interested in sex. Misreading these men's intentions doesn't mean they meant to lead women on. It's just an unfortunate situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 09:34 PM

I guess we have irreconcilable differences in opinion on this issue. I never felt led on in these instances, I just thought I misread the other person.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 09:28 PM

I suppose the closest example I have is asking out women I thought were into me and being rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 08:56 PM
3

I'm sorry you suffer from those issues and I wish you the best in getting in a healthier mindset. I don't think women are assuming out of thin air, they are making assumptions because they want the man to be into them. A man shows sexual interest and the woman hopes it's romantic interest. She then interprets the man's actions from a biased view that came from her desire for romantic attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 08:47 PM
2

People make wrong assumptions about how other people think/feel in non-sexual situations all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 08:42 PM
6

I think that's just a case of a woman projecting thoughts/feelings into the man's head because they really want him to be into her. Leading on requires a person to be purposefully deceptive in their intent
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 08:30 PM
6

You're taking how a man makes you feel and making assumptions on what the man is thinking/feeling. Unless a man is explicitly lying or being deceptive, they are not leading the woman on. Woman are grown adults and can ask that commitment question if they don't want to get led on. They don't ask because they don't want to hear the bad answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 08:28 PM
8

I didn't say it happens every single time, but it happens enough that women consider it a serious issue in dating. I didn't think it was controversial to say women sometimes try to use sex to get commitment. Literally one of the oldest strategies in the book.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 07:58 PM
3

Yes I agree, but there's a difference between a person trying to lead someone on, and a person feeling they were lead on. Lots of people upset about being pumped and dumped were not purposefully lead on.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 07:54 PM
12

Men don't need to lie to get women hoping for a relationship to sleep with them. Women will hope/assume that the sex will convince the aen to stay. Then they get upset when it's not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 07:43 PM

Casual sex isn't just ONS. I don't think people generally get upset from those. I'm more referring to when a woman gets upset when she gets ghosted after fucking a dude she was really into after the 3rd date. There's plenty of complaining about that situation to know it's not a rare situation.

Women are more than free to filter out men with high body counts, they just generally don't because highly attractive men usually have high body counts.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 03:41 PM

Is not the entire point of TRP determining what women find attractive in men, then becoming that type of man? Who are you arguing against here? The men on this subreddit are likely to agree with you since one of TRPs main advice is to lift.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 03:34 PM

If there's one thing I learned from the recent posts about waiting for sex and ghosting, is that a lot of women REALLY don't like being told that they are often the problem. Like if multiple men aren't even trying to get into a fwb situation after first time sex, it's because you are not fun to hang out with, or not attractive enough to put even a little bit of effort to try and fuck again. Before someone says "this is why we wait for sex", that's just ignoring the actual issue. If a woman is ge…

This disconnect is because women have different low standards depending on what they want from the man. If the dude is sexy and makes the woman feel sexy, she will have low standards for things like personality or other necessary relationship qualities. On the other hand, the better the man's relationship qualities the lower the bar will be for sexiness. Given the internet assisted hookup culture, many young women don't want relationships and many men don't meet the sexiness bar.

You would think at least 1 low pressure study would have a sample population where women have a higher n count than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 03:03 PM

Of course, a 40% discrepancy should be expected if you're dealing with low numbers. Any additional sex partner is going to inflate the percentage tremendously when you're dealing with such low numbers. But there's no reason to conclude that people will lie less the higher their n-count goes. Can't conclude the reverse either, but the fact remains people lie about n-count even when it's low. If a woman reports 50 past sex partners and later on reports 60 after being exposed to the lie detector th…

It's not just this study, it's every low pressure sex study I've seen done. Considering men and women have nearly equal populations, reported n-count should be near equal. Or it should at least vary on which gender reports a higher n-count. The fact men always report more suggests dishonesty from the participants.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 02:51 PM

It's an average so if less people lied you would get less than a 40% difference. The results aren't saying every person lies by 40%, they're saying the average will be off by 40%. There's a difference

It wasn't. This isn't a statement about reporting of sexual partner count, but the results in total. There were actually large differences in some of the "sexual behavior" measures, but not reported sexual partner count. You need larger groups to detect a smaller effect. They didn't see the results they expected in the previous study and ra…

Actually since the measurement is partner count that's the appropriate way to report it. I'd be wary of assuming the magnitude scales by the way, since we see the same magnitude in research that didn't meet significance. The size of the effect is small, which is probably why it isn't consistently detected across the research. Is it also not appropriate to say the partner count as 40% off? Both statements are true. Women highly value looks, women rate most men as physically unattractive, many men are sexless and it's getting worse. All 3 statements are supported by studies. You can't really conclude from that excerpt that women don't generally agree on which men are unattractive. Basic theoretical example, 10 women are asked to determine which men are attractive out of 10 men. Each woman only finds 1 to 2 men attractive for which there is disagreement. But all 10 women found the same 5 men unattractive. The rising sexlessness among men supports the idea women agree that a large population of men is unattractive.

Women as a population find a minority of men attractive, but the men in that population can look fairly different. A good point someone made to me is that women can have disagreements on who is attractive, but they have widespread agreement on who is unattractive.

I wouldn't define it as princess mentality since it's fairly common held standards. These women don't want everything in their life handled by men, they just expect men to put forth the bulk of the effort and risk in the courtship phase. I didn't say every woman was like that, it was just that sex is really the only way women who are like that are able to show interest. If women put more effort into showing interest in the courtship phase, men would be less pushy about needing sex.

How about you try to post again, but this time address the points I brought up. Do you dispute that men are expected to make the first move on asking women out? Do you dispute men are expected to plan the first date and subsequent dates? Do you dispute men are expected to at least pay for their half the date if not the entire date?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 11:34 AM

You're correct women don't have to show interest early in the courtship phase via sex, but from what I've seen many women are awful at doing so. When women expect men to make the first move (and subsequent escalating moves), plan the date, pay for at least half the date (usually all), and lead the conversation, where is the woman showing obvious interest in the man?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 11:26 AM

Yeah I agree, it's very difficult to fake an entire persona for long periods of time with an intimate partner. Most people don't have the ability to do it.

Gotta have the conversation about parenting styles before getting married. I think women would be less likely to lie about stuff like that

Just need to filter for women with limited casual sex experiences while being as attractive as you can be. Maximize your chances of being their most attractive and even if you're not, you can at least be close. Well hopefully at least. Easier said than done though

Well I plan on being a good father with a good relationship with my kids. I think women with good relationships with their dads are less likely to have unhealthy views to sex.

It's the risk I have to take since I want a wife and kids. I have to have faith in myself to be able to figure out if a woman is faking it.

The average woman hasn't needed a man to survive or even lead a comfortable life for decades. The SMP point started getting out of control toxic in the late 2000's, which coincides internet culture becoming more mainstream bringing social media explosion and OLD. This allowed attractive men to hit on far more women, and average women to get with hot dudes without directly seeing they are his 8th option. If you take away people using the internet to find romantic partners, the SMP would be far he…

I will never be able to fully know if I'm the most attractive person my partner has been with. But if they don't make me feel like I'm the most attractive person they've been with, the relationship is over. I would advise other men to do the same thing.

There are more men than women until the age of 40 in the U.S. But overall it's still pretty similar and will vary by location https://www.statista.com/statistics/241488/population-of-the-us-by-sex-and-age/

I don't see any issues with the advice given to women to protect themselves from men who won't improve their lives. But it's incomplete advice since they pretty much never discuss anything related to making themselves more attractive to high value men. From what I've seen the advice focuses on minimizing bad outcomes but makes no attempt to maximize good outcomes.

Yeah I'm confused on how all these people think women don't compete with other women for desirable men. They can be extremely cutthroat
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/21 03:32 PM

From what I've seen, women absolutely do compete. They just aren't competing in the same way. Women can be ruthless and shameless when trying to attract the attention of a man they are into. That's one of the main issues with FDS and many other women's dating advice groups. It's filled with women who have failed to see dating is still a competition for women and have failed to act competitively.

Gender dynamics change depending on the gender ratio. It shouldn't be a big surprise that it's good to be in the minority gender. "If there were more women than men, women stated they were more willing to engage in casual sex. If there were more men than women, men tended to place less importance on casual sex and be more open to long-term commitment." https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/12/151209105057.htm

I heavily encourage you to make a separate thread to discuss on which gender has a higher "demand" for the opposite gender. I would very much like to see how many people on this sub have views divorced from reality
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 10:09 PM
1

Men want sex more than women in and out of relationships. Men are more willing to do things to get sex. Men have a higher demand to have sex in any capacity with women than the reverse. If you can't accept this then it's pointless to continue this discussion since you are clearly are willing to ignore reality to continue believing your currently held beliefs. Here's my source for something so obvious it shouldn't require a source. https://www.webmd.com/sex/features/sex-drive-how-do-men-women-com…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 09:43 PM

You claim that an unequal supply of men and women (in favor of women) on OLD leads to women finding men less attractive due to laws of supply and demand. I'm claiming an unequal demand between men and women (in favor of women) irl leads to women finding men less attractive due to laws of supply and demand. Please explain how you can believe in your claim but not mine.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 09:33 PM
2

So you're saying in an environment where men have a higher "demand" for women than women will "demand" men, will result in women rating men less attractive since they have more options? If so I think you'll find the regular world meets those criteria.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 08:50 PM
3

How does the skewed gender ratio on the app prevent women from rating male profile attractiveness similarly to how they would rate the men irl? You have not answered this question. The gender dynamics on dating apps are just exaggerated versions of gender dynamics irl. It stands to reason the okcupid results are exaggerated but similar to how women rate men irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 08:34 PM
3

You can't claim the okcupid data doesn't translate to irl without evidence. What is your evidence that women will rate men less attractive on dating apps where men outnumber women. You asked for a source, I gave you a source. Now you want to dismiss the source without any evidence to backup your claims on why the source is faulty.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 08:25 PM
34

Pretty good post, but I would change category A to not include religion. There are women who are non religious who still have no interest in casual sex. I think it's important to convey you don't need to be religious to not desire casual sex. To go on a bit of a tangent, men would have less problems waiting for sex if the non type D women showed more attraction and effort to men during the pre-sex courtship phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 07:10 PM
5

What is your logic in throwing away the data? It's not like women's only experience with men is on okcupid. They don't suddenly lose their ability to judge attractiveness just because there are more men than women on the app. You just want to dismiss it because it goes against your already held beliefs. If you are so convinced that women as a population find more men attractive than the reverse why don't you provide a source to prove it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 05:30 PM
1

Yeah I figured. This is one of those issues that really dependant on personal experiences. I don't think academia really wants to make a study where they explicitly ask men what women they would be willing to pump and dump, so there will never be a definitive answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:59 PM
1

Well there's always that okcupid study everyone always discusses that shows how men and women rate eachother. See the graphs shown here https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2009/11/18/okcupid-inbox-attractive/amp/
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:52 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:50 PM

Here is the tl;dr of my post: men agree on which large percentage of the women population is attractive. Women disagree on which small percentage of the male population is attractive. Are you seriously saying that women as a whole find more men attractive as compared to the reverse?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:46 PM
1

Yeah I don't have any study to change your mind. Just my experience that men are willing to have sex with women they rate as average. From what I've seen plenty of men are willing to have sex with obese women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:41 PM
7

If you prefer to ignore the specific numbers, go ahead. Instead try to argue against the general idea of my post which doesn't need to have specific numbers to be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:37 PM
2

I think a main issue is defining what "attractive" means. I've thought about it and the only definition I think that makes sense is "willing to have non transactional sex with". Going by that definition I definitely think men would be willing to have sex with over half the female population.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:29 PM
3

I don't have a source for specific stats because I haven't seen a study that would give them. It's an estimate based off of OLD/speed dating studies and what men/ women have said online and irl. I hope you don't think you need a specific study before being able to hold an opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:26 PM
2

Pretty much every study I've seen done that asked men to rate women's attractiveness resulted in a standard bell curve. Basically half of women are 5's or more as judged by men. From my experience, a 5 means the person is somewhat attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 02:47 PM
4

Source for what? The fact men find more women attractive then women find men? That should really be evident. Source for specific percentages? I don't have anything specific, I just base it off of my interactions with men/women and OLD/speed dating studies that show women having a low (less than 10%) "like" percentage of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 02:37 PM
17

Individual men find a large percentage of the women population attractive. In the younger age groups I'd say men will find over 50% of women at least somewhat attractive. This explains why men as a group "agree" on attractiveness more than women. Based on my conversations with women both online and irl, individual women find far less than 50% of men attractive. To connect this to the 80/20 rule (which is often misunderstood) individual women find far less than 20% of men attractive. I'd estimate…

I think people overestimate the impact of porn on the average man's expectations. Men had unrealistic expectations before porn. Before porn young teenagers learned about sex from some guys older brother who was probably telling complete bullshit. At least with porn some men can actually look into "realistic" and "educational" porn and go into sex with better knowledge than men in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 01:00 PM

If women had the same type of sexuality as gay men, far less men would be complaining. All the reasons you listed are bullshit, the main reason is that lots of straight men are left out of the sexual market during the "fun and experimenting phase" but very few gay men and straight women are left out.

Imo the waiting for sex is the most contextual and dependant on difference in how long the current partner needs to wait vs past partners. As long as the wait isn't some arbitrarily long time period of multiple months it seems like a good way to filter out certain types of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 11:30 PM

So you seem to be taking what I'm saying as some sort of attack on you, which it is not meant to be. The type of woman I'm talking about doesn't seem to apply to you since from what you've told me you clearly overall put more sexual effort in your relationships than casual partners. Making relationship guys wait a bit longer for sex than casual sex guys but then putting in more effort once sex starts is something many men can at least understand.

I never said men should assume their partner liked other men more just because she had sex with them. I said if she put in more sexual effort with previous partners. If I had to describe what more sexual effort looked like I would generalize it by how quickly into the relationship sex began, how frequently tl sex occurred, and what sexual acts were done. I think there might be some miscommunication with what I'm trying to say here. I'm not sure if I understand your comment right but what I'm trying to say is mem will put in more effort in every way for a woman he wants to commit to as compared to a woman he just wants casual sex with. You clearly don't understand normal male sexuality in the same way you believe men don't understand female sexuality. It's completely normal for men to desire to be lusted for by their wife/girlfriend and these men shouldn't be discouraged or put down for trying to find that. I wasn't trying to tie sex to love, but sex to attraction. It is rare for a man to act more sexually attracted to the women he has casual sex with as compared to the woman he loves. Women often act more sexually attracted to the men they have casual sex with as compared to the men they love.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 05:35 PM

You asked why a man who cannot be treated like a “sperm donor” without having filed an agreement through a reproductive medical agency prior to his children’s conception. If your problem is the father waiving responsibility post conception, like women do with abortion, there is a solution. Can you explain why involving private fertility organizations is needed for a man to be declared a sperm donor. We accept that consent to sex doesn't mean consent to parenthood (for women at least). We accept that sperm donors have no parental responsibility or rights. So why can men not declare themselves as sperm donors and void their parental rights/responsibilities if it is done with enough time to allow a woman to abort?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:38 PM

You're getting too hung up on "abortion" part of financial abortion. Though not really your fault since it's such a terrible word choice for what is being proposed. The actual idea being proposed is to essentially let men declare themselves as sperm donors. Sperm donors are not responsible and don't have any rights to children conceived using their sperm.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 02:57 PM

Are sperm donors required to pay for any children conceived using their sperm? Obviously not. What "financial abortion" (terrible word choice) is proposing to essentially have the man declare himself as just a sperm donor, with the caveat that it must be done early enough in the pregnancy for the woman to abort.

The government has far more nuanced options than just creating their own OLD platform, which is an awful idea btw. If the government feels that current OLD platforms are a net negative to society, they can just tax the fuck out of that style of OLD. There should be enough lying to be statistically significant otherwise the study I posted in my OP wouldn't be able to measure a difference. Some men tell the truth about their lack of sex, others are lying about it. This study suggests there are more sexless men than self reported studies suggest. But it would be fairly difficult to know exactly how many men are lying.

Do you mind pointing out specifically which article and where? The most relevant thing I found was in the 2nd article "Sexual inactivity among women of the same age remained relatively constant, rising from 15 percent to 19 percent over the same time period." It's not that female sexlessness doesn't matter, it's just people only seem to bring up to to minimize and silence the male sexlessness problem.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/21 02:54 PM

It's true but it's only brought up to obscure and silence the real issue. The rise in female sexlessness has not risen nearly as dramatically as men and seems to fall within the historical range.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/21 02:47 PM

Most of the studies I've seen define sexlessness as not having sex in a year, which isn't perfect but is pretty good. In these studies male sexlessness at least doubles if not triples in the last decade. Female sexlessness increased but not nearly as much and was still within historical trends. I'm no ally of delusional incels but you are as unreasonable as them if you truly insist having sex once means you can never be defined as sexless.

Idk how you can look enormous rise is sexlessness in young men in the last decade and still tout "everyone is having less sex", it's clearly worse for men. Not even to try to attribute it to anything here, but it's undeniable that young male sexlessness is starting to cause friction in today's society.

The definition of a HVM is in the name. They are men that are highly desired by many women. I don't think it's useful to get into the specific details of what a HVM is because not all of these men fit the same archetype. Most people seem to imagine "chad" as the generic hot jock/frat bro, which means he would fit 1 archetype of a HVM. 80/20 "rule" is still correct, it's just that not all men in the 20% fit the same style of attractiveness.

Men also find plenty overweight women attractive if that's what you're hung up about. It's just that women are less likely to be attractive when overweight as compared to their healthy weight.

The overweight women can lose weight and become attractive. The overweight men can lose weight and will just end up less unattractive.

But men...are not doing this. Because using goo will not probably make much of a difference in a man's attractiveness. Otherwise I didn't want to imply women weren't putting in effort or that women weren't putting in extra effort. Just that many women don't NEED to put in large amount of effort to be attractive. I am confident you and your friends could put in less effort and still be attractive. Maybe not as attractive but that just makes sense since you put in less effort.

that healthy weight is a modicum of effort Glad we agree this takes only a small amount of effort. Skin care either is a lot of effort or a modicum of effort and good genes. Someone that has bad skin, typically uses 5type of products, twice a day. And put all the effort into knowing which 5 products. That's emediatly going for a lot of effort. It doesn't take a large amount of effort to research what goo is good for your skin. Nor does it take a large amount of effort or time to apply that goo t…

Well I came to that opinion by just listening to women talk about what they found physically attractive. Face is the overwhelmingly #1 important feature that attracts women. Height is usually up there as well. Can't change height and you can't really change your face if you start at a healthy weight with a reasonable haircut. Please don't interpret this as saying no women will find a fit but a "not ugly" faced man attractive, but the majority of women will not. Also just male thirst in general w…

I said nearly guaranteed for a reason. Sadly some people are just born ugly and no amount of effort besides surgery will fix it. But yes the vast majority (but not all) of women can be attractive with the right effort. There is a very large population of men that will never be attractive no matter how much effort they put in.

A man putting a large amount of effort in his appearance will not be as attractive as a woman who puts a large amount of effort into her appearance. A woman who puts a large amount of effort into their appearance is nearly guaranteed to be attractive. There is no such guarantee for men.

Yes I agree there is a significant portion of men with straight up hygiene issues. Never tried to argue against this. Just tried to argue against the idea from the OP that all women need to (and do) put in the effort Instagram models are known to do to be attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 03:38 PM
9

I mean I agree with what you're saying which is why I included the part about still needing skin and hair care to be attractive. It's also real effort because I know women don't enjoy the lengths they have to go to keep healthy skin/hair. But the OP is vastly exaggerating how much time is needed to do this and understating the effort men put it.

Women don't need to go to salons or spend a lot of time picking out clothes to meet these minimum standards of attractiveness for the context you are talking about. But you're right that women are generally judged by their appearance more than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 02:52 PM

But they do legitimately enjoy that stuff though. I have no idea why you would deny this. The vast majority of women like going to the salon and picking out nice clothes. It's not effort to drive to salon to have someone else pamper you. It's not effort to drive to a clothing store then leisurely do something you enjoy. can say that the women who do not enjoy these things and do not do them are usually reviled or ignored by men Reviled is the wrong word to use here. Women don't need to workout to be attractive, that's mostly diet. Men don't use goo or makeup because it won't actually make them more attractive. Any man that works out is putting more "effort" into their appearance than the majority of women. I have no idea what point you are trying to make with your 2nd point or how it relates to anything I am saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 01:34 PM

I don't think you really understand what these men mean when they say "women are attractive by default" and "women don't put the needed effort in their looks". Men are not talking about hot women when they say these things. You've conflated "attractive" and "hot" for no good reason. The "women are attractive by default" means that if a woman is a healthy weight and puts just a modicum of effort into skin care, hair care, and makeup she will be probably be found attractive by most men. Unfortunately I think most social media sites and online dating are designing themselves to be a addicting as possible. It is hard to find a healthy balance when one side is trying to trick your inherent psychology to continue using it. It will be difficult to inspire the right cultural change to force these sites to tone down their addictive properties.

I wish I knew. If I knew how to create significant cultural changes I'd be a much wealthier person. Also create some sort of media message to reach the next generation that would make them desire irl interaction over spending time online.

I understand that's not how it works irl, it was an example to show an extreme. If the outliers are so extreme that they have a noticeable affect on the average on a given survey then the survey is flawed or the outliers aren't actually outliers. I really don't care about averages besides the fact it shows that you can't these self reported surveys at face value.

Manwhores would only skew the average if the survey disproportionately surveyed manwhores. Do y'all seriously not understand how this works? Quick example, population of 10 men and 10 women. 1 man sleeps with every woman, no other men have sex. The average n count for men and women would be the same: 1.

You'd have a point if men and women's populations weren't roughly equal. But they are so please try again. This time try to use an example where the population of men is equal to women. The numbers never add up in these surveys. Men's average n count is always statistically significantly higher than women's n count. Basic logic tells us this is impossible. This is how you know at least one gender is more likely to lie on these surveys (most likely both) or the survey is missing a key demographic. When sticking to irl men have to choose between hitting on attractive women with lower odds of success or the more average women for higher odds of success. Male dating issues are relatively consistent across the age groups so there is less need for men to look beyond the "default" dating sub. There's 3 main reasons why a woman would act in the way described in your post. One reason is that the woman has changed as a person and no longer desires casual sex at all. Another reason is that the woman is really into the man and thinks early sex will hurt the chance of getting into a relationship. Idk what the point of this question is. It's obvious that the more sexually attractive a man is, the more "aggressive" the woman will be. There's really no other factor. I put aggressive in quotes because most women won't be truly aggressive, they'll just make it increasingly obvious they are interested in the man without outright stating it/asking him out. I'm not trying to do a "not all men" argument. I don't even disagree with your post which is why I didn't reply to it in my op. Limiting your argument to "too many" makes it impossible to argue against since if there are any lonely men that are choosing beggars I would qualify that as "too many". I think there was misunderstanding of what my post was trying to say. I was saying the wall does exist as described in my post. But there are bitter and delusional people that describe the wall as women turning into infertile hags on their 30th birthday. That's what I was saying was cope.

I think part of the problem is that you're listening to bitter men that are exaggerating how men feel about women's careers. It's true that men, especially highly desirable men, care about women's careers. Just not as much as men care about women's careers. For women, the better a man's career the more attractive he is, and the attraction increases as the "prestige" of the career increases. Women generally expect their men to have at least a good of career as them. This isn't how it works for me…

I will somewhat agree that women's financial independence and the culture change has resulted in "the wall" affecting women less. But I do think you are under stating " the wall". Now to start "The wall" as described by delusional red pillers doesn't exist nor did it ever and is 100% cope. Women in general never had this huge decrease in physical looks once they turned 30. But a more nuanced take I've seen more reasonable red pillers take is that women suffer a noticeable decrease (but not drast…

Did you reply to the correct post? All I said about male sexlessness is that there are more male virgins than female virgins, which is just an obvious factual statement. I never made any attempt to explain the why.

That seems like nitpicking. To most people, 10 is high. The pattern shows that men are more likely to being within the 0 or 10+ groups while women are between 1 to 9. I mean, I can argue the came case that if we separate the ones with the N count have 5, it'd show probably show that most woman are between 1 to 5. I don't personally feel like it's nitpicking but if you want to classify as anyone over 10+ as a slut with no other distinctions, then I won't disagree that there are more men but I do …

I think the amount of people who have had oral or anal but are technically virgins because of no piv are too small of a population to really matter. Saying men with 10+ n count outnumber women doesn't invalidate what I said either. Women can outnumber men in the 10 to 20 n count range but get overtaken when adding it 20+ n count. Also it's strange that you admit in your OP that women are slut shamed but also want to dismiss any possibility that women could lie about to their n count to avoid bei…

I thinks it's undeniable that there are more make virgins than female virgins, so I agree with you there. But I'm not sure how to argue against your male vs female slut argument since you never really define what makes a "slut". Does the desire to have tons of casual sex make one a slut or is it the act of having tons of casual sex? If it only takes the desire to have tons of causal sex then yes men are the more slutty gender. But if you need to actually be having tons of casual sex to be define…

I don't think there's a way for anyone to consciously lower their standards as you correctly point out that attraction occurs at the subconscious level. I do think people can gain more realistic standards by changing their own behaviors and what they choose to experience. I think it's safe to say unrealistic porn consumption can cause men to have unrealistic standards on how women look and how they act during sex. Using the same logic, women can get unrealistic standards on what type of man they…

I don't really think you've made a good argument or presented enough evidence to claim that "fatherhood" isn't ingrained in the instinctual level. I mean your own evidence shows that men have a biological reaction (lowered testosterone) to raising children that supposedly makes them better fathers. That seems like the biological mechanism for paternal instincts to me. Why would men evolve to lower thier T levels and decrease their chances of mating unless doing so increased their chances of succ…

Honestly I don't think there's a right answer to this. Both genders greatly underestimate the problems faced by the opposite gender because they don't have any truly comparable experience. For example, I don't think most men can ever truly empathize with how much unwanted attention women get. It is simply too contrary to the male experience. On the flip side, most women can't actually empathize with the absolute lack of sexual attention a man can recieve even when they aren't doing anything "wro…

To play a bit of devils advocate, that's not how they see their advice. FDS advice starts under the assumption that women already attract HVM and that all they need to do is filter out LVM to get the HVM. While I don't agree they should make that assumption, that's their logic. I think it's safe to say any reasonable person would say that's not a good assumption to make but FDS is blinded by their general disdain of the male gender and have constructed their advice based on what is essentially a…

It's impossible to be a woman that consistently attracts highly desirable men for commitment without also attracting low desirable men. If you're actively trying to get more desirable men to stop approaching you, high desirable men will also stop approaching you. If you want to attract the most desirable men you'll have to deal with lots of low desirable men, there's no way around this. Having said that, there's nothing wrong with giving women advice on how to minimize their contact and effort o…

So I can't quite tell based on your comment of I agree with you. To expand on my views, men view wealth/education/job as minimum thresholds that women must meet in order to be commitment material. But attraction is not really increased even if the woman goes above and beyond that minimum threshold. To compare, women also have a minimum threshold but their attraction to a man also increases as the man's wealth/education/job increases. So wealth/education/job is kinda make or break since if a woma…

Disagree that men don't value wealth/job/education. It's not the most important qualities men look for but they are still important. Men don't want to marry women who are below them in "class". Wealth/job/education are visible class indicators that men pay attention to. They aren't necessary for women to display their "class" just some of the more visible ways to display it. But you're right when you say women don't get to decide what men value, and that to get a desirable man women should figur…

Here's a tldr simple explanation, men just have an innate desire to fuck as many women as possible. This almost certainly stems from the fact men don't get pregnant. It's obvious you're trying to draw some parallel to women's dual mating strategy but it just doesn't hold up. Since women take a lot of risks to birth children they've evolved to focus on evaluating 2 (general) traits, male genetic quality and chance/ability to support children. They need to make sure their children have the best ge…

The majority of women are not going to get turned off by the most popular looks maxing methods. You shouldn't need reassurance from an online forum that women like fit men with good style. Also looks maxing isn't going to work for everyone, but it will work for a lot of people. Looksmaxing is meant for your everyday average Joe who is probably at least slightly overweight with no remarkable style. Most people aren't going to get hot but they'll become attractive enough to pass the minimum attrac…

Both men and women can get a higher quality partner based on their "personality". But there are differences in what men and women value in personality. For example "4" in looks can land a "6" if they have an exceptional "personality", regardless of gender. It's also much easier for women to be physically attractive than it is for me. It really isn't an exaggeration to say a woman will usually be attractive if she spends a modest amount of time on skin care, fashion, and makeup while being a heal…
