About 650 calories - clean food with a quest bar

Cyclic keto here as well. I did strict low carb for seven weeks and lost about six percent body fat (went from 22 to around 16). I'm literally combining it all right now (keto/if/calorie deficit/refeeds/resistance training). Something's gonna have to give. I do one refeed per week now and eat around a 600 calorie deficit the other six. I alternate between refeeds as well (one week is more strict with eating lower fat and the next is a little more of a cheat day)

We are definitely going to be in touch! As a newly converted believer in keto, I still have alot of questions about it. I'll PM you soon.

I've completely cut out carbohydrates (for the most part) and trying to adjust to a paleo-ish diet. Probably dropped a few pounds in the past two weeks. Trying to go from 18 to 10-12 percent body fat. Also riding 45 miles a week to work on my bike and doing cardio. I quit smoking and limited my drinking to a few a week (you get drunk off one drink on this I swear). I'm hellbent on those abs. I know looks don't play nearly as much into female to male attraction, but I find that once I accomplish …

I don't check for a wedding ring anymore if I see a girl I'm into. I check for a car seat.

They should come to the Portland suburbs. Women in their early twenties have babies like there's no tomorrow. Some are on their second or third.

I've loved Maron for a long time. I've read his book, Attempting Normal, and everything he says in here is based on a lot of shit he went through.

I wouldn't call it 90 percent, unless you're talking about Gresham. And yeah, the obesity is pretty sad.

I'd say girls either fall into the category of "really fine" or "really ugly". Very few inbetweens

Great post! I moved to Portland, OR from South Florida on October 1st. Flying over the three sisters and then the Columbia river on the most crystal clear day was absolutely breathtaking. Best day of my life was when I got on that plane and said yes to myself and the life I truly wanted.

Music - playing it, discovering it, learning about it, going to record stores, going to shows, etc.

Number two is fucking golden. Get something in your life that is going to compete with your loss, OP!

I think everyone will have a natural strength on this list. As for me, I'm going to take two of these points and apply them and work on them immediately. The rest I will gradually add in upon seeing progression on whatever I am working on.

Any advice on how someone who just moved to a new city can build a high smv?

I'm five years older than you, and all I can say is that moving away from the only place I ever knew two months ago was the best thing I've ever done. Give it a try, man. Everyone should experience leaving their hometown at least once.

Great post!I've been trying to use Mark Mansons idea of being direct (vulnerability) on okcupid and have not had much success with it. As someone relatively new to dating sites, are negs and humor more likely to lead to dates/phone numbers?

I feel like she's using this guy as leverage in her current relationship.

I smoke because of the buzz that it gives you. But there is also a comfort zone behind it - kind of like holding a drink and standing in a circle with friends.

Idolizing her. If you believe that she has something that nobody else has (which is never true), then you put her on the pedestal. I'm three weeks out of a breakup and I still have my ex on a pedestal which only the grace of time is going to destruct completely. I idolize my ex because we share the same music taste and she's cute - but in reality, I know there are more like her - my heart just has difficulty believing it right now

How do you remain calm with hostile people (being yelled at, someone trying to fight you, etc) ? I seem to kinda lower my voice a little and I start getting nervous. What are some ways to keep my body language at ease and avoid stuttering ?

Me - hey how did you do on that test ? Her - I think I failed Me - yeah i didnt do so hot either (a few minutes of convo) Me - You're cool, lets hang sometime. Whats your number ? This works, trust me.

As a barista in a very busy mall, I can attest to this.

As someone who just joined okcupid, gotta say thanks to OP for the pointers. I find the best way to first contact someone is with a simple question pertaining to hobbies - if she plays xbox, ask her what her favorite game is.

Partake in a hobby for yourself - only pull the guitar out if youve got her in your room and she wants to hear you play it.

This is basically my exact story. My oneitis had it all - beauty, brains, body, grace, intrigue. I know the feeling but I have also come to understand that there are many other girls like her. Of course, I thought mine was worth more too than many of these other girls. Especially where I live, girls seem shallow, but the reason seddit stresses going out is to meet new women and see that this girl is not all that special. I saw a picture not too long ago of her with a dude who looked like her new…

This is absolutely spot on - its more of a "lost cause" mentality in the sense that the guy is trying to make amends with himself and possibly still gain something from nothing.

I deal with this alot too (still a virgin unfortunately but also due to being oblivious, not wanting a gf, etc). Physical stature isnt a huge deal honestly. Im not super tall or muscular either. Just have some confidence, maybe say something witty to the "adorable" part too. Girl - You're adorable and cute, BreesorFoster You - What am I, your teddy bear ? Cajun is pretty clever when it comes to this stuff too.

For those of you who are getting discouraged right now, the majority of the 80% are either not trying, religious hard asses, in relationships, etc.My friend took me out to dinner several months ago and basically taught me how to play the game ( I suffered from BAD oneitis). He scored a dozen times and is balding for crying out loud. The summary of his speech, "This is not that difficult, KoFP". You cant build muscle if youre not at the gym, just like you cant get ladies if you dont put yourself …

As someone who has dealt with but finally overcome victim mentality, I can say that everything in this article is gold. Good find, OP.
