Day to day, I like light greys (my go to is Essie Between the Seats) I have a cool-neutral very fair complexion, and I just can’t pull off any rosy pink colours, they make me look sickly. This is what frustrates me living in Canada. It’s illegal to conceal carry, and even shooting at someone breaking in your house is legally risky and could be years of court battles. Although I generally feel safe, there’s just not a lot of options beyond pepper spray that we can use

I know this is from a few days ago, but I’ve totally been where you are! I used to work at a company where two women there were horrible to me but I was in line for a more senior role and was able to do business travel, while being newer than them, and I think they resented me. I can confirm, it’s amazing to get as much done Mon-fri. My SO and I both work, but we have a rule when we get home, instead on sitting down right away, we do ~45 mins of cleaning/prepping. Sometimes I’ll drop him off at home and he cleans and I pick up groceries, or vice versa. We know if we sit down and start relaxing, it’s going to be REALLY hard to get back up and clean, so it’s much easier to just do it right away while you’re still up. It’s not sustainable in Canada either. Daycare is like $1500 and up a month, housing has doubled or tripled in last few years, wages have been stagnant, most of my developer friends can’t even freaking afford rent (I’m > 2 hours away from Toronto, so not even in a big city) so people are forced to move away and often go to different provinces

I might be ignorant, but I believe there’s two types of filler, dissolving and permanent. Every doc I’ve heard warns against the permanent one as it does migrate and it’s hard to remove

I respond by getting personally offended by that statement, even while being a woman. I have a partner, father, grandfather, friends, and relatives who are men who are nothing but sweet and kind, who want the best for everyone and have worked hard their whole lives. How dare someone make a statement like that about them. They are clearly the ones with hate in their heart, not men in general.
