1	[deleted by user] With my experience, if she wanted to continue talking to you and make something out of it, she would habe recommended a second option like “ hey sorry my best friend needs me, but if you are free nex friday at 8 pm I would love to go on a date and grab dinner with you, sorry I couldn’t make it today” something like that that shows she wants more out of it, tbh I would move on and talk to other women.
