Dude, I can tell just talking to you that you're incredibly bright. Being able to convert potential into accomplishments is one of the most frightening things young guy's have to face. For the most part yes. Choosing the place tells the girl she's hopping on your ride and entering your world, but it's never a bad thing if the girl is the one to bring up a location she wants to see and implies that she wants you to take her. But that's only when the girl is investing in you naturally, and that's almost always a good sign. Long story short, depends on whether she chooses the place because she likes you. You should never tell her to pick the place because you can't decide.

This is pretty terrible. You think this girl doesn't know where there are coffee shops near her? She is going to blow you off because your texting felt more like you trying to make a sexual business deal than you trying to build rapport from a tinder open and get the date. Did you try changing venues to a local beach or art gallery? Coffee dates as first dates aren't bad when time is short for both people but there's enough inherent attraction to keep it moving forward. (I.e. two resident doctors getting coffee) if you have time moving the venue will give you the ability to escalate.

I feel that those examples are basic and in a way only to allow yourself to feel comfortable in your current position in life and creating your happiness then comes from expanding that. The problem with this is at any time worth going traffic is awful to drive and if you have a nicer car definitely not worth the risk to me anyway. and the trains here aren't cheap so going once or twice a month is about the best you can do.

As someone in your shoes I can tell you this, I definitely do best when parents are out of town. Good for practice, but as a beginner they are really hard to make work. Granted some are naturals and can do them, but they work when you can't think of anything to say and want to practice/ get over AA. However, if you start getting a lot better at approaching and continuing the conversation I'm sure their success rate increases.
