Good job! Don't lose that confidence if things don't work out with the date. It's a marathon.
/r/seduction05/07/18 07:30 PM

It seems to make the whole interaction disingenuous and prevents the natural course of conversation/newly formed relationships to occur.

Try different things and see what works best for you. Some people have more success on tinder/dating apps whereas others have more success joining clubs. Others may find cold approaching works best. Don't spend too much time thinking of what to try; just go out and do it.

Just be like "Hey, no problem. Had a lot of fun though, let me know if you want to do it again some time".

Since they're all in the same class, ask the professor if you can say something to everyone at the end of a class. Say "I like a lot of you girls, but since there are only two weeks in the school year, I don't have enough time to go on dates with all of you. Please raise your hand if you would like to schedule a date with me before the semester ends". Or you could just ask one out and go from there...

Do you have anxiety about doing things in public? I think a kiss and general touching is good public escalation. It makes it easier for her to be comfortable with you because you are making your physical intentions completely clear before she feels the increased intimacy of being alone with you in a room. Not saying your current way won't work, I just think you'll have more success with a little more public escalation.
/r/seduction18/05/18 03:39 AM

Why wait? I mean there really is zero advantage in waiting to escalate to even a kiss. It's only going to make things easier if you escalate throughout the night prior to getting to your house.

Okay so not only is that not indicative of the general population, it almost certainly does not meet significance tests and would fail to reject any null hypothesis. A womens magazine caters to a specific audience of women. And then to further that, it only is indicative of those who took the time to respond to a survey - which, believe it or not, makes the data less reliable.
/r/seduction14/04/18 08:34 PM

Not only is this 10 years old, it has no source for the study. Edit: You'll find biased studies everywhere if you want to find them. Considering the OP adds "says unsurprising new study," it's clear he wants to believe this is true to fit his own narrative.

Does your friend know about this? You're not really his friend if you aren't being honest with him about his girl. Friends should come before a girl up until the point where you're in a LTR, where it then isn't so cut and dry.

You won't get a second date. Your best bet for a date in the future is to now text again. You already have texted her multiple times where she has made it clear she isn't up for anything. It could be her ex, it could be her, it could be anything. But you shouldn't text her again.

Try going out having just one drink. It's not going to be as easy to flirt but at least you'll remember and improve.

Honestly it is tough being attractive and having no confidence. But it's still easier than not being attractive. You might face different internal battles than them however... I know (only a year ago) I have had thoughts like "I'm fake because I am objectively a 9/10 but can't maintain the decent conversation level everyone that looks like me is able to easily do." It is routed in comparing yourself to others and feeling like you don't match up. Like "why am I struggling when I hear so many peop…

End things man. You vocalized your view. She disrespected your view and clearly doesn't understand what it means to be in a trusting relationship.

It's one date. No need to tell her. If you went on a couple dates, then it makes sense to be upfront. If she reaches out to you, you can be honest.

Your fear of being friendzone will only hurt you. Get rid of the fear and realize it's just you two going...and she's comfortable with that. Don't make that joke. Just enjoy yourself. If you enjoy yourself you'll be more confident. Make a lot of eye contact. Show through your body language you are attracted. You can be a little touchy, but don't make it too obvious. Honestly there are so many things to do but they all come from experience and by not thinking about them too much. So instead of me…

You need more time to yourself. But yourself doesn't mean alone. It means investing in your social life, your habits, your health, your confidence.
/r/seduction05/01/18 10:09 PM

I've never had to do something that drastic and I've been fine. To me, that makes you look like a drama queen who isn't okay with going at a slower pace. A girl would see those actions and be turned off. Of the past ten years? Dude, some of the common stuff that was preached over the past ten years is terrible advice. Corny pickup lines were literally the definition of pickup 10 years ago.
/r/seduction05/01/18 10:08 PM

I wouldn't listen to that comment. She wanted to have a date and not just make out within the first hour of meeting up. This could be because she either likes you and doesn't want to hook up right away or she just doesn't want to come off as that easy. Either way, the only point you made any mistake was when you didn't escalate during the movie. It's a wave. You were high and then naturally you had to come down to continue the date/watch the movie. But then you have to bring it up again. You let…

You didn't end back up in your beta ways. There is no such thing as beta and alpha. Get that shit out of your head. You just lack experience and you aren't improving by thinking so deeply into a girl on instagram. Everything the guy above said is right.

Not much more practice. You've never practiced a day in your life. You need to start for the first time. Don't use getting psyched up as an excuse. Life is full of yes and no. 0's and 1's. You either do or you don't. When you see a girl, every second you spend waiting or questioning leads you further from taking action. Next time you see someone to talk to just do it. Literally the first second you make eye contact. If you wait you'll bail.

Actions speak louder than words. So many times I have heard those words from a girl and never hear from them again if I don't reach out... even when they say things such as "I'll let you know", etc. Would you wait four days to text back a girl you liked and wanted to meet? No. You'd respond faster and set up a definite alternative date. I'd just stop contacting both since the ball is pretty much in their court.
/r/seduction29/12/17 02:46 PM

Are these concrete dates you made or dates you suggested? It sounds like the second girl you definitely did this with and she just simply wasn't able to make it. Did she ask you out for coffee or was that you again? I'd stop talking to girl 1 unless she reaches out.

Don't play games. That's devoting too much energy to a girl and you'll only feel more invested. Just go on dates, decide for yourself how you feel. But objectively look at it because you mention "if they see you moving on, they'll chase". You're in a sense caught in that with girl #1. She's hot and cold so it almost seems like she could be moving on. You're innately more likely to chase her because of that. Go on a date with the other girl and really think about what you like and perhaps dislike…

Because people who get rejected and succeed are the ones who don't take rejection seriously. Who cares? Not everyone is supposed to like you. It's mindset at the point. Treating sex as the end game is a disastrous mindset to be in. And so what if someone "acts" important? That's half the point. If you aren't, your value isn't as high. You don't have to try but you should understand that once you reach a certain mindset, it's not a struggle anymore because you don't treat it like a struggle... an…

The thing is that you will always hate parts of yourself. But hate is a strong word and you come to learn that that hate is really just aspects of yourself you wish to improve. Improvement is made through actions and it is an endless cycle. Happiness is a state that can't last forever because it implies complacency; which then implies a lack of change. Don't beat yourself over things because what you must come to realize is that every step in a direction leads you to another step. But the steps …

It's easier to hook up and get laid, sure. But I had a ton of success doing that and not developing my game. It only truly improved when I met quality women throughout the day that challenged me and forced me to improve myself. You shouldn't be looking for easy. You should be looking for improvement. And you don't improve when everything is easy.

Don't try to stop your negative thoughts. Just work to promote your positive ones. Let the negative ones come and go but don't dwell on them. Treat the negative thoughts like clouds in the sky. They'll always be there and they'll come in different sizes , but they just float on by and really don't alter your day whatsoever.

I had nothing to lose but my pride. The pride I thought I needed to tell myself that I was worth talking to a girl. But my pride was shrouded by anxiety. It was an excuse to hide behind the covers so as to protect myself. What I thought was protecting me was really my only hindrance. Changing the way I thought internally gave me the most success with women; and people in general.
/r/seduction12/10/17 06:07 PM

I'd just wait. Sending a second message won't help in any way.

You can ask her but don't do it in an apologetic tone. It probably won't do anything beneficial for you besides get some intuition on how you acted. I had the same problem recently and ruined it with the girl... so I learned that I really can't be drinking that much if I want to be successful with women. The thing about being drunk is EVERYONE is an annoying, embarrassing drunk if they get to that level. You sound ashamed which tells me you still have room for improvement. I'd just laugh it off …

Don't put it up with it man. I get that she's hot, but you don't really sound happy and she isn't treating you well. You should date people who don't gaslight you.

Yes you should be able to read if she wants a kiss. With you asking this question, it is likely that you won't be able to read it; which is fine and expected. You learn from doing. Create a vibe where you show your interest: body language and kino are the most essential! Then just go for it. Don't doubt yourself. Girls like to be led, so while she may show hints (you may not pick up on them) it's your job to take the initiative and kiss her. Look into her eyes while talking then after a couple s…

You don't want to look needy but you can't hide what you are. You've exchanged a total of 2 messages with this girl and you already think she is special. You've never met her in person or anything. Not the kind of beauty everyone recognizes?? Every guy recognizes a girl with a cute nose, eyebrows and sexy looking legs (not specifically but as a whole package). Talk to her if you want but keep it friendly; even then prepare to not hear from her- you shouldn't care either way.

Really there is no such thing as a friend zone. It's some made up term to describe guys who just haven't shown their sexual side to a girl. By not showing it, you caused her to think "wow, he hasn't tried anything sexual with me (kissing, REAL touching -under the shirt, etc.) I guess he isn't into me like that". Once a girl is in that frame of mind it makes it 100x harder for her mindset to change, which leads people to think they're in the friendzone. You cuddled with her? That's common beginni…

Taking good pictures is actually the most important part, not how you look (given you're average/above average). I'm a male model that, in person, get a lot of IOIs from attractive girls. However, on tinder it's different. Until recently, I was using blurry, zoomed-in group photos. I don't use my model photos because I feel like they're try hard and non-genuine. I only swipe right to girls I am attracted to (7-8+) and when I had blurry photos I'd get roughly 2-3 a day. I recently just took the t…

Yeah everyone pretty much said it, so in case you're doubting their advice, I'll reiterate it. MAKE A MOVE. You're afraid of rejection but the only way you're going to end up rejected is if you choose to be non dominating (thereby showing the traits of "just a friend") and do nothing. Just go for it and realize that you will be golden if you grow the balls to do it and continually escalate.

It looks promising? I went to camps at that age too and although I didn't have much success, I look back and realize SO MANY missed opportunities from girls. I just wasn't sure of myself back then and didn't know how to read girls as well. If it looks promising in the slightest, just jump on it. Go for it. You're talking to a girl? Find a way to separate the two of you from everyone else. Talk and joke with her as you walk away from everyone; don't be afraid to touch her, brush up against her wi…

Yes. Just send a message 3-4 hours before confirming it. People can have busy lives and may need a reminder for a first date. Also, some girls may get cold feet if they don't hear from someone at all. They may not want to risk being stood up so they won't show if they aren't sure you'll be there.

Such an easy situation. Not only are high school kids sleeping around each other reason for things to happen, but as you said you will be up at night. Just talk to girls. Really, that's it. Do you know how to flirt?

She's going to you with her problems and you're not in a relationship with her? She's emotionally attached in some respect but probably doesn't feel the physical. Don't respond immediately but don't play long games. She texted you. What did you say? Don't act. Be yourself. But don't be afraid. Be calm, collective and don't read too deep into things. Talk to her for a little and offer to hang out in a non-intimate environment. Maybe with some friends. As I mentioned before, tell her about a place…

You were cuddling and kissing alone...and then.... texting the next day? She clearly wanted to do something more with you, and I'm willing to bet you were so nervous that you didn't want to make any moves for fear of ruining things. This happened more than once. You probably showed to her that you weren't confident (actually, you DID show that). She made almost all the moves leading up to that point and you didn't reciprocate escalation. Women tend to have a window where they see you as a sexual…
