I don’t have a women’s studies degree and my opinion is mostly based on circumstantial evidence but I will say parents tend to push their kids towards different things based on gender. Those early inclinations build different skills and interests. There are legal rights (which are equal for all genders and races) and then social rights. Are you saying that the black community in the US don't have it worse than their white peers in average? While I agree that feminism is not near as needed as it was 50 years ago there are still some social injustices. There are also some for Men but "Men's Rights" gets shit on pretty quickly. Somewhat irrelevant, it's weird that a lot of our terms have male/female classifications where they're not needed, and that most of them started as male classifications: dude waiter "hey guys" hero etc. etc. Like sometimes gender matters (movie roles actor/actress) but why does it matter if I have a waiter or a waitress? There's a large lack of role models in this clip, I agree. Maybe she does work on it most days. Maybe she's the only one in her family with a stable job trying to support her kids. Maybe this was at the end of a big altercation with someone and she, inappropriately, took it out on this stranger. Who knows. It's hard to judge a person fully on a single clip. Well surely it's easy to imagine that given the behavior and educational standard the mother sets for her children they won't fall far from the tree. It'll take some really amazing role models or luck for those kids to not grow up similar to her. Then, with that framework, it's easy to imagine that the mother grew up in a similar environment. Getting out of low income/poor behavior families is hard and takes a lot of help, luck, or time (generations).

If you have reason to think they would do it again then maybe you use force against them to prevent harm to others (assuming you're fighting them to lose the bat in this example). Or, potentially disarming them and placing them under a sort of citizens arrest to give time for the police to arrive. In neither case does it seem appropriate to pick up your own baseball bat, hit them, and go on your merry way.
