Guess why they weren’t forced into the draft? Because men believed it’s a man’s responsibility to protect their country, not women. You can literally blame patriarchal culture for this. Furthermore, mainstream feminism supports that NO ONE should be drafted. Again, both genders have hardships and comparing them is futile and subjective.

100% agree. This isn’t the oppression olympics and both genders have to face difficult hardships. The comments here are awful, comparing both hardships and saying “women have it easier” when it’s all subjective.
