I mean I'm more than willing to believe you. Just gotta figure out how it jives with my personal experience and all. It's entirely possible that it's more "If you're hot you can make more mistakes but it doesn't necessarily get you in her pants."

If you didn't click the link it was just the most exaggerated hot guy and exaggerated ugly guy I could find. And I'd be willing to believe that if I didn't see how much more homely guys have to put in to get similar results to the really fucking hot guys (When it comes to the actual dating part. It takes some significant ignorance to think that the really hot guys aren't putting in the hours at the gym and maintaining their health and fashion and shit that the homely guys just fucking ignore). A…

You're expecting a woman to think like a man, and categorize women like a man would. I mean. I was going more general. I was lead to believe that women would enjoy sex with Hot Guy McSexy infinitely more than with Not Hot Guy McSexy. And the same principal applies with guys. (Side note. I'm a bisexual male. I've never been more inspired to hit the gym than to look more like and to look more at guys like Hot Guy McSexy) sillynanny cakes It's fine. I'll let you get away with that because I'm the b…

So, in terms of a straight man's partner, why should she feel more flattered than a pig faced fatass? Sex with a hot chick is still better than sex with a pig faced fatass. The level of enjoyment and value is waaay higher. I'm sure if someone gave you $1000 you'd be happy as shit but that wouldn't somehow decrease how fucking ecstatic you'd be if someone gave you $1,000,000. (It's 4 am. I can only speak in analogies at this point.) Fightin' words, right there. Good. Cause you were wrong.

If men valued their partner, they wouldn't be humping the leg of every pig faced girl out there. Actually let me rephrase because you make a good point. Men value sex. It typically doesn't matter who it's with as long as it gets past a certain "I'm not horribly disgusted with her" threshold. (Which isn't the same as the "I'm not horribly disgusted with myself" threshold in my experience) Much like the crack head wouldn't give a fuck where he gets his crack from (Call backs are my specialty). At …

Where did you get the idea that I'm fucking every guy that comes on to me? Where did my post assume that? I mean I thought you made it pretty clear that you only sleep with the people you want to sleep with. The only thing I was saying was that men in general value sleeping with you, including the ones you choose to sleep with. Because sex isn't cheap for guys. And that because it's cheap for you, you don't value it. Also for fun: You don't do fast food? Yeah I do. The same thing applies there. …

You don't want to interact with the chef cooking you food? I don't value the $10 I spent but I sure as hell value the chef's expertise and ingredients and time and willingness to use said things to make me dumplings. Hell I'll even stop the analogies. You don't want to interact with the people you fuck? Because this was about "I don't value sex and don't care that the people I'm having sex with values it a lot."

I am a sober person and I do care? Knowing what other people care about let's me know how to get what I want from them. If I had crack and I knew a person who was addicted to crack, I could use that crack to get what I actually do want from them. You tell me there's nothing you do and nothing you take note of that you don't give a shit about personally but you know that people you want to interact with do? Like I don't fucking care about what people wear, but I know that some people do so I shou…

But a non-crack addict would know that crack is a reward for crack addicts. I'm not a crack addict and I know that if I had crack that would be worth a shitload from someone who is addicted to crack. Doesn't matter that it means nothing to me. So why would I give it away unless I was rewarding them for whatever they were giving to me?

As a casual observer this is one of the more interesting conversations to me. Because I don't really think women want to be respected in the same way that men want to be respected. I know there was a study that floated around the gender discussion sphere that showed (in that study) that when a man and woman are treated the same the woman feels discriminated against (again in that study. Not using it as a statement about the world). It might point to something. Also to the main topic, I think the…

I should note using the word grope is just because that's what the topic is. It's physicality in general. Wrestling and play fighting and general physical contact are a thing, and then there's literal "I slowly put my hand on your thigh as you're driving after making an insinuation that I'm into you" as a joke or various forms of grabass or nut checking or red light or whatever. Like I have female friends that are cool with the "Yo that was hilarious" light jab to the shoulder, but I really doub…

Interesting paradox here. Among my male friends we grope each other as a joke all the time. It's a part of the mutual respect "We're brothers so for the point of the joke it's always allowed." The times when guys get upset is a moment where we lose some respect for them (Not completely. Respect is modular) because seriously wtf are you upset about. I'm 99% sure women don't want us to apply that to them.

And a lot of people think Robin Hood is an asshole. It's just where you personally draw the line. And the person who cuts the line probably isn't pissing people off for the sake of it. They're pissing people off because they don't care about the people they're pissing off. Oh wait do you know who doesn't care about the people they piss off? Robin Hood. Steal from the rich pretty much means "Fuck you I don't care that you're upset."

personality traits shouldn't be changed manually. People's personalities may change based on the things the encounter in their life or just time and that's perfectly fine, but if you force yourself to change then you'll be miserable. Character flaws such as greedy, being rude, being an asshole, being overly selfish are traits that you should be changed. You are arguing a matter of degree because there's no difference here. They're all just personality traits and you're saying some you shouldn't …

First, I think you're arguing a matter of degree and I'm arguing principle. If you prefer to be indoors it will impact your life in terms of looking for a job (You'll probably try and get a job that'll be indoors and probably don't have the skills to enjoy a job that requires you to be outside), looking for a date (You'll be at home playing games instead of outside meeting people), making friends (see the prior), and just being around people (see. the. prior). Arguably you can say that's not nea…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/16 04:23 AM

See but preferring to be indoors playing games IS an undesirable quality to most people. I know many people who enjoy snappy as a personality trait, I'm one of them. I know that they're a minority, but I don't care as I can just surround myself with them. However if I wanted to be happy with a larger number of people I'd have to turn off that trait. It's the same with any qualities that people have that decrease their attractiveness sexually.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/16 04:05 AM
1

Learning to like the indoors is the same thing as learning to not be snappy. It's literally just changing your response to certain things. I'm a snappy person by nature, but I can be patient whenever I want. I just don't want to. It's frustrating and I hate dealing with people in that way. I'm also an indoors person. I get the same feeling whenever I force myself to be outside.

Yes but If he's not getting ANY sex and he looks ok, the problem is probably that he has personality issues Isn't that implying he needs to change these personality issues? Wouldn't changing those kinds of inherent personality traits literally be pretending to be someone you're not?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/16 03:46 AM

Then wouldn't changing those things be changing who he is? Wasn't that was the person was arguing against?

Incel men don't get any approaches. You chose to not accept. They didn't even get the offer.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/16 10:19 PM

Incorrect. The point is that people treat male sexuality as a negative when it shouldn't be. OP is saying "Men are sex obsessed and that shouldn't be a negative, but people see it as a negative."
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/16 04:05 AM

From what I can see they're saying "Men are sex obsessed and that shouldn't be a negative"
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/16 12:58 AM

Yeah. So mean. The mean would be 5. I don't think the average guy would score a 5, even though I think they should (I think that most girls find most guys unattractive and thus the average guy is seen as less than 5). I also don't think it's possible to get sex with little effort as a guy unless they're a 7+. And by little effort I mean less effort than a day of work's worth of effort (work or class or whatever)
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/16 10:17 PM
1

I think there's a third possibility. We are using different definitions of average. When I use average I mean the mode. The most common guy. (And/or the average with a completely uneven distribution crowded towards 3 or 4 but that's a discussion for another time). When you use it you're doing "Add every trait up and divide by the number of people to get what would be completely in the middle". I don't think the average guy is a 5. I don't think the average girl is a 5. I think the average guy is…

And why is it that I'm unlucky and not the norm? Because every guy I know has to put in equal or higher effort and barely gets any success. (Or be in the like top 5% of attractiveness and get stupid amounts of success) And this crosses colleges, states, and countries (Large friend pool accumulates if you talk to almost everyone). It's the disconnect. It just seems like you're talking about ultra lucky people (Or delusional about how attractive they are)

It's by far the most draining of my activities and it's also by far the least successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/16 02:43 PM

Be a bit more chill, you don't have to talk to everyone and you don't have to be as fun as possible, just be as funny as comes natural to you. That is what comes naturally to me now. Relative to what? Every other activity that requires effort. And keep in mind "Knowing the right thing to do and doing that" is a part of the total effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/16 01:40 PM
2

Relative effort would probably be the easiest. And if that's how you're going about it, what would you say the right thing is?

You didn't really answer the question.

What counts as "just a little effort"? I go out daily and talk to everyone and try to be as fun as possible and I've had sex once in the past 6 months.

Taxpayer money is always going to be on the line. The child needs to be cared for somehow. But yeah I just wanted to see if you were consistent in your views. Personally I believe that the child's life should be transferred to the womb because the argument is about woman's bodily autonomy, which is perfectly preserved in this procedure. I also believe consent to sex isn't consent to parenthood (at any point. I actually do believe a parent should be able to say "Well fuck I can't keep doing this"…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/16 05:50 PM

Do you also agree that men shouldn't be on the hook for child support?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/16 04:23 PM
1

Very important question. When artificial wombs are a thing, would you assert that instead of abortions women should have to put the fetus into an artificial womb and then take care of it when it becomes a child? In that way it doesn't harm the rights of the unborn child and doesn't harm the rights of the mother.

I didn't believe it was. I was saying it's stupid in both directions. Neither side should cover up, literally or figuratively. It's stupid.

To figure out what to test next. To have something to discuss. The hypotheticals give us information that we can now attempt to falsify. To back up anecdotal experiences that paint specific pictures. Assigning causation during these discussions is a byproduct. No one is saying "This is for sure what's happening" they're discussing as that's what's happening and the potential ramifications. It's derailing to come in and say "We don't know if that's definitely what's happening", it's contributory …

If you weren't assuming anything you would say the most direct correlation is the one we should work with until we get more information. Because that lacks the assumption of additional layers.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/16 08:37 PM
1

I believe human beings are complicated, so Occam's Razor is rarely a useful tool in these cases. But if we knew it was depression that causes it, then it would still just be one layer. Your argument doesn't actually work there. The commentators are saying you're assuming an additional layer is at work here because loss of job doesn't necessarily have to have the same level of correlation with depression as it has with divorce.

*Just clarifying I'm not the same person. I was just doing my best to try and help with any disconnection between ideas. The level of resources or how much money they're bringing in doesn't matter - it's simply whether they're working full time or not. That's the thing. I didn't say they couldn't perform the role of being a provider, just that they are objectively doing worse at it than they were before. Part of the role is having the job. Arguably they'd be providing less than before if they sw…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/16 06:41 PM

Walk me through the mental connection between "Men who do not work full time have a higher rate of divorce" and "women view their husbands as resource providers not life partners". When men lose their ability to continue to provide the same level of resources, their likelihood of divorce increases compared to men who haven't lost this ability but are equal in every other way (to the extent that our data can confirm. Which I understand means it's "We need to do more studies" to back up the claim)…

Just saying. If plenty of others never learned that then it's probably not basic decency. Especially since it runs counter to everything that any of my roommates have ever done.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/16 03:26 PM

At my dorm I never gave a fuck about dishes or cleanliness and would let things (both mine and my 3 roommates) pile up because my threshold for mess is stupid high. But if I knew guests were coming over I would clean everything myself because they're my guests. I don't care who's dishes or who's mess it was before hand. I'm the one who wants it clean in that moment so I'm the one who should clean it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/16 03:22 PM

Then you wouldn't be the person this is talking about. If you only get sexual with people who you have gotten to know, you wouldn't be having lots of casual sex and suddenly changing that for the people you want to be with in an LTR. You'd be consistent. That's all they're talking about, consistency either way.

Disclaimer: I'm asking as a hypothetical for the people who wouldn't want to ask. What if you have? What if you've talked to every girl you could possibly get in contact with to the point where everyone you could talk to has either rejected you or has heard of some crazy reputation that you have so they reject you before even talking to you? What do you do then? What if you're younger so you can't do bars or clubs? What if you live in a small town so bars and clubs wouldn't work out? What if you…

Not really, no. But I still would prefer to pursue the girl who would be cool with going home with me more than the one who wasn't. I want a long term relationship, but I do kinda want to get laid as quickly and as often as possible.

Oh dude trust me, in most cases it's pretty easy to be 100% cool with. Like, being able to attract someone, even if it's to someone else, is a mind blowing feeling. So just remembering that alone makes it super easy to be cool with. Getting over an Ex however is slightly harder, which is what one of those girls is XD

Maybe it's just me, but it seems whenever I find a lesbian or bisexual friend, I also find another lesbian or bisexual friend and introduce them. I just have to. Hell if you think I'm cool enough to talk to me on a regular basis, then I have to at least try and get you laid dude. I'm currently at a 100% success rate and it feels good man. Even if I can't stand watching some of them kiss each other (wishing it was me they were kissing instead) it's all good.

I consider this to be my specialty (with girls who I have managed to get attracted to me) First you get them to want to turn you on. Like get them so attracted to you that the thought of them turning you on turns them on. That was the hard part, if you're passed that the rest is simple. Start small with just a normal picture or a description of something you'd like to do together. Keep the conversation sexual the entire time. If she ever asks a variant of "What could I do to turn you on" just an…
