I’m not trying to be rude when I say this, but I think this way above Reddit’s pay grade. Have you seeked out therapy, if not, you should. Also, just because his ex lost her virginity to him, doesn’t make you any less special. I’m sure your partner loves you regardless. You didn’t do anything wrong, you experienced a traumatic event. And had a trauma response. I wish you the best, and I hope you feel better.

I don’t recommend Jessica X, she seems to worship the black manosphere. If you read her comments they’re really toxic and negative. I couldn’t stay on her channel, the negativity was off the charts. But that’s just my opinion on her.

I watch a lot of channels focusing on Black femininity and just general advice for black women. So here’s all the channels I watch: Breeny Lee, Chrissie, Chloe_, Dr. Michelle, Divine femininity queen, Feminine Strategy & Lifestyle, Karine Alourde, Real Talk with Yanie, Thefeminineprincess, BeautifulBrwnBabyDoll (generally good advice), Ebony Nikita Okeke

Talk to him about it but be gentle, opening up about a kink is so scary. Which is probably why he waited to tell, even though he should have told you much sooner. Either way, you shouldn’t do something that you’re not comfortable with. It may hurt his feelings, but your feelings are important too. On another note, I’ve noticed that a lot of people who are dominant in their lives 24/7 are pretty submissive in the bedroom.

I don’t think that justifies some of her actions, especially cheating. I feel like there were better ways she could have gone about it.

That kind of bothered me too, hopefully she’s learned from it. And both her and the husband are better off. Because it sort of felt like a lack of accountability.

It isn’t “normal”, but I have better things to do with my time than shame consenting adults for what they do in the bedroom. Also, a daddy kink is actually pretty common. So is age regression in general.

There is a mommy kink. It’s referred to as Mdlb. Hopefully it’s just that, and not anything too crazy.

Your boyfriend might have a mommy kink, the opposite of a daddy kink. Or may use “Mommy” the way some women use “Daddy”. This may very well lead to him asking you do kinky stuff in the future. Ask if yourself if you would be ready for that. And try to gently get him to talk about it.

I understand trying to change someone’s world view, but this feels very... brainwashy? I don’t know... the thought of it just makes me really uncomfortable.

I’m not sure if childbirth is supposed to effect your tightness, and if it does it’s supposed to snap back overtime. https://www.healthline.com/health/womens-health/loose-vagina#takeaway Maybe you should talk to your gynecologist about this

Yeah, I’m sorry I didn’t mean it that way. I felt like the lady in the article was claiming it was only straight Christian women, to make it seem like the sub was “discriminatory”.

I feel like she judged the entire subreddit based off of TRP and a small portion TRPW. They act like the subreddit is only for straight, Christian women. I’m a bisexual atheist, who is having a fine time here so far. There’s lots of genuinely good advice here, even if I don’t agree with everything.

I’m plan to wait to become sexually active with my future partner till engagement. I’m getting married after I get my degree, I’ll be 30 by then. I plan to marry a year after that. So I don’t want to be a virgin for that long. If he is watching porn every now and then we’re not living together or engaged. I probably won’t care, as long as it isn’t too often. And it stops when we get active.

Maybe in a different context it would be an issue, but it seems like he didn’t intend to hurt you. Also, hippos are cute imo.

I’ve seen a lot of women balance it. It just requires time management and a good work/home environment. If you have a bad work environment, it’s going to be harder to build a happy home. But even then it’s possible. But having a job you enjoy could make it a whole lot easier.

I would try to find more traditional friends to take a break from them sort of. I don’t have many traditional friends, but sometimes I get really irritated after talking to them. So I’ll go vent or talk to some of my liberal friends to cool off. I also pick and choose my battles, some things aren’t worth arguing about.

Honestly, if I had an overbearing MIL I think the best thing would be to talk to your husband about it first. If that doesn’t work maybe talk to her yourself, but try to be polite. Although, I have seen some extremely vicious JNMIL, so my suggestions may not work for everybody. I think OP was being a little dramatic, and taking things way too personal. I think the MIL is just trying to show love for her family. And you’re throwing childish tantrums because she’s giving you food? I can see why he…

Not allowed to use tablecloths?? That’s ridiculous. From your other responses he seems kind of dismissive and controlling. There doesn’t seem to be an equal amount of respect here. I think he has some kind of sentimental attachment to this table/ex. You need to have a long discussion about his behavior.

I love kink but um... thats a lot to ask of someone. If it makes you uncomfortable say no, and he should respect your decision.

Sweetheart, you're fine. You just need to love yourself on the inside, so you'll finally be able to see the beauty on the outside.

When my mom let me pick out stuff for my room when I was young it was called "grown up". When you're that young it feels like a very grown up thing to do.

I know how you feel, I'm tall and very skinny. I struggle a lot with loving my body, and this is gonna sound ridiculous, but to help me feel more confident I looked at runway models. It feels good to know that people beautiful enough to be on a runway look like me. I hope this helps!

I'm still in undergrad majoring in psychology, to get to med school and study to become a cosmetic dermatologist.

All my hard work has paid off. I'm in school, I just checked and my GPA is a 4.8 . I'm so happy, it makes me eager to keep working hard.

Laziness does not justify beating your spouse. That's a very toxic mindset. Stop trying to spread the idea that this behavior is okay, it is not.

I think so for the most part. The few times politics has been brought up there's been an agreement. I'm an atheist and he's a Christian, but it's never been an issue. Since he doesn't go to church, and is chill about it.

Thank you so much for replying. "Remember self improvement is an act of love". I think I'm gonna put that on a sticky note and tape it to my mirror. ❤️

Thanks so much, what a great response! Right now I'm working on skincare, makeup, cleanliness, good grades (i'm a student), and diet changes. I'm skinny but that's because of my fast metabolism. But I eat horribly, and weight doesn't matter if my insides are suffering. I'm a little scared. I've been trying to improve myself for the last 2 or 3 years, and I always fail. I say this time will be different, then I lose focus and fail again :(

I really like this, I never understand STFU before and the title did make me skeptical. But this is such a good idea. Try to speak positively to everyone in your life not just your husband. Words, and how they're said, is very important!

I would never do anything to spite my partner, unless they were truly being petty and mean. Like when my ex told me I was "impure", and "not worthy to meet his parents" if I started to wear a choker. So I got a choker that day and started to wear it, he ended up liking it. But I would have never reacted that way if he wasn't so rude.

Lots of women on this subreddit have long term relationships, with high value men. You made an extremely poor attempt at redeeming yourself, and defending your ridiculous assumptions.

The mods should remove you and your negativity. But since they haven't here is my 2 cents. "Men like women who are fun and adventurous". And some men like women who are quiet, reserved, and maybe even boring. Not all the women on this subreddit have what you describe as a "Type A", personality. And we definitely don't need your "pity" or "curiosity". You don't get to be a dick because we have a different approach to dating and relationships.

I'm trying my best to do something hockey themed. I googled something called an explosion box. I'm thinking of a hockey/us themed box. I know his favorite team is the St.Louis blues. Edit: thank yo so much for the advice!

That's fine. It shouldn't be hard to find since this is the only subreddit I've seen that talks about relationships, that states a same-sex one is off topic. I was just wondering.

I don't plan to? It was just a matter of if I'm having a problem within a same sex relationship, could seek advice here. Because I really value you ladies opinions. Thanks for telling me I guess.

The question is about being with a woman comes from the possibility of us breaking up. Things can change, i just wanted to know if I was even allowed to post here about same sex relationships. But thank you for commenting :)

I do want to have a long relationship with this guy, my last relationship was 4 years. I just know that people and situations can change, so there is a possibility that we may not be together forever. And thats okay. Thank you so much for weighing in.
