Using it as an insult to degrade someone could be considered misogynistic or playing into harmful patriarchal stereotypes.

Oh boy. Good luck. Happened to me about 5 years ago and me and my gf of the time split up over it. (There was other stuff but this did not help). 5 years later I realise what a misguided that I was and I don't interact with social media anymore because the algorithm if you are a male just shoves that shit down your throat. It is pure cancer. He will have to realise this by himself. Get him to look at Destiny or Hasan piker or vaush who will help him get a much broader take instead of these incel…

Have you got any reading suggestions?

Yeah. I think as I age the more I hate capitalism but the more I realise that I have financial burdens and need money to survive. I don't see anything changing soon but that is where it becomes conspiratorial for me because what forces are at play that want us to suffer like this.

Reading the comments and to add to this. It seems like most people agree that the amount we are expected to work in our lifetimes is ridiculous. I'm really surprised there aren't more movements pushing a 4 day work week or reducing work hours... life should be about more than labor.

Hard hitting take and agree with everything you said. It's not that "work" is inherently bad it's just that it can feel like it is all there is sometimes. I honestly think a global 4 day work week would solve like 90% of the world's problems.

I like this! Think it comes down largely to "growing up" and abandoning that part of my edgy teen phase. I don't even know if this is actually a redpill thing tbh. More black pill or "ex-conspiracy theorist"

Thank you!! It's quite hard to be kind to yourself once you've been redpilled because they are so naturally outwardly hateful that the same happens inwardly too.

It sounds like a hard relationship to get over. It makes it even harder when it feels like an ideology outside of yourself may have played a part in it ending. I had a similar thing with my ex gf when it ended in 2021. I was just terribly redpilled guy. In the real world... we got along amazingly, it's crazy how falling into these Internet chasms can really play out awfully in the real world, too! It will get better and thank you for acknowledging that perspective!! I think it starts with loving…

I feel like being redpilled denies you (as a man) to view your partner as equal or even as a person with real emotions. They are someone who is there to inflate your own sense of self-worth and importance within the "dominance heirarchy"... therefore.... as a guy who thinks like that it is very hard to listen authentically to your partner and to be present with them as you are so preoccupied with your own status according to other men. It is actually despairingly sad as a philosophy and part of …

It might have something to do with the kind of school he is at. If his school are intolerant he could be picking things up there.

I learnt this recently but you can just filter your content by saying "not interested" or "don't show me this"... just train your algorithm by flagging or reporting or not reccomending certain content you dislike. It is great to filter stuff out.

In response to your post. I did the same over the last 2 years and overall was much healthier (in a lull at the moment due to injury)... but I found the more I would push in one direction of "health" and positive behaviours the more I felt like I need to push back in degenerate ways when I got the excuse to. I feel like it is kind of ying and yang for me... like I can't be super healthy all the time without the occasional binge or release of unhealthy habits. Still working on how to manage that.

Just be yourself. You can't predict the future and nothing lasts forever... if it is meant to be it will be.... generic as fuck but trying to "plan" how you want the relationship to pan out will have you constantly living in the future instead of making the most of the moment... don't live in that anxiety and just know it will be fine regardless of how it goes

Casey Zander basically teaches you how to manipulate and exploit women under the age of 21 or who haven't fully emotionally developed yet. Guy is a straight up psycho with it. If you want to manipulate women and "game-ify" relationships then I'm sure you could have success with what he does but you can make your own decision on that one.

That's how I got sucked into the redpill. After 1 failed relationship the redpill community will sell you down the river (with a supplements or trading course at the end of it). All the while making you into a raging, disgusting misogynist.... It is pure cancer.

I like what you say about not being the only one who is uncomfortable about this. It is really only 2 people in the group who are vicious with it

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
