I can't read your mind. What I can tell you is that when you allow new beliefs into your head, the automatically effect other associated beliefs. It's really not universal. I've lived in the UK, and the number of times I've heard a woman call a man "Cunt" is vanishing in comparison to the reverse. This is gendered language, and everyone is assuming it means the opposite of it's normal meaning. I did read that in the linked article, but it still isn't clear. Children born to US diplomats are not automatically citizens, unless their parents are citizens. So whether the beuracracy correctly knew whether he was still a diplomat or not shouldn't matter - either way, if the parents aren't a citizen, the child isn't. I think that there's still plenty of opportunity for exercising prejudice with power even while there's a black President. Nice. OK, I'll use personal experience instead of shared cultural experience. I'm a consultant, and I end up getting to know the insides of many businesses fairly deeply. The biggest shock to me was how many employees don't seem to do any work. They're not protected by a Union - I live in a talk-radio dominated state. And yet they keep their jobs, just like the useless teachers. Go figure. Help me out here... at this point do I say "get fucked?" I'm not trained in being an asshole.
