Does a woman's appearance really matter THAT much? Most of my dates have been off of Bumble but I've met some guys off of Hinge too. I haven't hooked up with EVERY guy I went on a first or second date with, just the ones I had a really good time with and thought were attractive. It's hard to tell why they don't want anything, if thats just the way they are or if it has something to do with me specifically. I think a lot of people, especially men are just serial dating. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/09/22 06:58 AM
Does a woman's appearance really matter THAT much?I am indeed. I do go out on dates at least once a week maybe twice, and maybe my main issue is that I shouldn't be getting frisky with them so quick, but what can I say? I crave intimacy and I'm horny and I figure if it's not going to work out, whether we hooked up or not won't matter that much but I could be wrong. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/09/22 06:35 AM
Does a woman's appearance really matter THAT much? This is exactly what I thought too. I believe people generally have a pretty good idea of how attractive they are to other people by how much attention they get, the amount of matches they might get and how they are treated compared to other people. Being attractive broadens your options which causes the same people to want to choose the 'better' of those options since they have them, while the opposite is also true. Someone who is not attractive might be happy just to get ANY attention, like "O… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/09/22 03:50 AM
What do you think is average body count of a "top 20% man" is?I dated a guy who told me he's slept with around 300 women when he was pissed off at me, kind of as to say "I can get pussy easily, you're nothing" kind of way. I don't know if I believe him or not but I wouldn't be surprised. He's very attractive, fit, tall, and has that soccer fuckboy look. He's a bit of a dumbass but I suppose he can get away with that. He has an identical twin brother who is also obviously attractive but he pretends to act like he never goes out or screws around, which I kno… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/22 02:21 AM
| -1 | paying for the first dateProbably not a popular stance but I (female) usually refuse coffee dates, its either drinks at a bar or dinner. And the man has paid like 95% of the time. I don't ask them to, but in some way I expect them to and they know it. I wasn't coy or misleading about it. If they asked me to go out, I would say "I'd love to, if you take me out for drinks or dinner". If I have to get dolled up to look nice, do my make up, drive out there, I want to get something out of it too. Not to say I can't afford my… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/04/22 01:40 PM |
What is there more of; people with great looks or people with great personalities?I would think there would be more people with good personalities because good looks are apparent. You don't need to get to know them to know if they have a good personality. You know that they are an attractive person by just looking at them. Most average or below average looking people might have really awesome personalities but a lot of them don't get the chance to show it, and even if they do, an attractive person with a below average personality will always get more attention in general. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/04/22 12:40 PM
Q4W: Have you ever been pumped and dumped? Not sure if this is considered a pump and dump but a guy I had been talking to for a few weeks online and we have only met 3 times so far. First time was a normal date, we went to a restaurant, had food and drinks and parted ways and continued to casually text each other every few days. Second time, I asked if he wanted to come over to my place and I had intended to hook up with him and I'm sure he was aware of it. We talked for a bit before we started making out and then hooked up. He hung out … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/03/22 10:37 AM
Intelligence and personality matter A LOTFor sure, they might still hook up with really hot loser guy though. No one really wants to be with a trainwreck. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/03/22 04:42 PM
Intelligence and personality matter A LOTWhat's BB and AF stand for? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/03/22 04:33 PM
Intelligence and personality matter A LOTI believe even if a woman doesn't deem you "dateable" they will still probably hook up if they find you attractive enough, same with men. There are obviously chads that get tons of ass without trying and guys who've done everything right but can't seem to score. Unfortunately I really do think most of it has to do with physical attraction. I've liked some men that were straight up douche bags but they were very attractive looking. If it weren't for that I don't think I could have tolerated their… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/03/22 04:19 PM
Intelligence and personality matter A LOTI am 36 and the two men in question are 34 and 32. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/03/22 04:08 PM
Intelligence and personality matter A LOTWoman here. Dating two guys at the moment but not exclusive obviously. One guy, an engineer, makes good money and very generous towards me. He's decent looking and likable and we have fun together and good conversations. He treats me very well. Unfortunately, I am just not that attracted to him. He's tried to kiss me and hold me and I usually shirk away. Other dude is more of a blue collar worker but seems fairly intelligent. He's taken me out on one date and seemed concerned about the cost of t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/03/22 03:54 PM
Q4W: What is your opinion on guys who use prostitutes?Yea sure they should totally get married. And unless it was discussed beforehand "Hey I will bang you but you have to buy me food and get me an Uber home" but that's not prostitution imo. I don't even know what we're talking about anymore. All I'm saying is having sex with someone willingly because you want to versus only doing it because you're being paid to do so is not the same as "dating" sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/22 04:25 PM
Q4W: What is your opinion on guys who use prostitutes?Ok you don't get it. I never said they weren't women, men can have sex jobs too. People can choose not to go to work but they do because they need money to live. People you "can" have sex with isn't the same as "wanting" to have sex with them. I have no incentive to have sex with random men I find unattractive. I don't look down on sex workers, they do what they gotta do to live. That doesn't mean they enjoy or want to have sex with those people. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/22 09:01 AM
Q4W: What is your opinion on guys who use prostitutes? No it really isn't. Prostitutes do it as a living for money, women with high count choose who they have sex with and aren't getting paid for it. It's completely different. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/22 07:42 AM
Are attractive men not looking for casual sex so rare? This is true. I think women would rather have the "opportunity" and some lingering feeling of hope rather than some guy they find attractive not giving them an in at all. Which is still sad, but it is what it is. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/02/22 04:59 PM
[deleted by user]I hate muscles, why do people even work out or lift? My ideal type is super flabby. In all seriousness, if you ARE being serious, taking your shirt off for no reason is pretty douchey. Almost a bit insulting or amateur, it's kind of like "This is all I need to get babes right?" and to the woman "Is that all he thinks he needs to do to get in my pants?" | /r/seduction | 18/12/21 09:55 PM
What's the hardest you have ever seen a women Simp for a guy she wasn't seeing/dating?I was simping pretty hard for a guy that I matched on OLD. We went on a few dates and had a great time, and he was also very attractive. We also hung out regularly during the week at his apartment just watching movies and drinking together. I did notice he was still getting Bumble notifications and he would regularly check his phone, then leave the room, I assume to answer texts or check his profile without me next to him. I eventually asked him one day "What are we?" and he shrugged and said it… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/11/21 04:12 AM
Is it THIS common for girls to sleep with you on the first date?Kind of ashamed to admit I have had sex with men on first dates more than a couple of times and I would consider myself above average looking. I'll do it if the guy is attractive, there's chemistry, and if we had a good date in which he paid the tab for. I probably shouldn't, but what can I say? I'm horny and if the sex is bad then it prob wouldn't work out anyways. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/10/21 01:32 AM
Study: Authenticity predicts high relationship satisfaction, except for people high in trait (DT) psychopathy.Well I'm not sure what the official or accepted definition of "authenticity" is as it relates to dating, but to me it's not always about being 'yourself' but more like being honest about your true feelings, what you want, what makes you happy, and being able to express that to others without hiding behind a wall of shame or putting on a facade as to not disappoint others. But yea, if your personality is ass then it doesn't really matter if you're honest about it or not. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/08/21 03:11 PM
[deleted by user]I don't know if your city has a r4r subreddit, but my city (Atlanta) does and most of it is used for looking for hook ups. I thought it'd be a nice place to find some friends but it's mostly just horny men and cucks and couples and some chicks looking for some sex. | /r/seduction | 16/07/21 07:00 PM
Step right up and claim this prize who is probably lying about her age.I am not a spy. I am on all these subs because I'm curious about how people think or perceive the opposite sex. | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 23/06/21 08:45 PM
Step right up and claim this prize who is probably lying about her age. There is NO way she is 39, even 49 is pushing it. I feel kind of bad for her... she's delusional. But yeaaaaaaaa... I hope she finds what she's looking for. Edit: Wut... how does this site know my true identity?? I've been exposed. | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 23/06/21 09:48 AM
| – | What are Your Physical Deal Breakers in Guys ?Prob just body chemistry/pheromones. You can meet someone who seemingly has no odor (not wearing any products with fragrance) but still think they "smell" good. Animals use pheromones to find their mates, humans probably subconsciously still use it as a way to determine whats attractive to them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/21 08:22 PM |
| – | How many of the men complaining about the dating scene are actually worthy of dating?I knew a guy a while back... and not to be mean but he had a pizza delivery job, a pretty scrawny build and wasn't exactly the greatest looking... and despite that, he had a bit of a condescending attitude. He would try go out on dates with women way above his league and when it doesn't work out (because he actually offered to cook dinner for one chick and made her packaged ramen), he just says they weren't smart enough for him. He kept wanting to date women that were 7+ and I kept wanting to te… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/06/21 08:55 PM |
[Q4All] Why do women simultaneously like being "strong" women, but also enjoy being physically small, dainty and weaker than men?Yea but that can be applied to a lot of things. My point is, the two things you are comparing are different. Also, I am assuming by "strong" you mean women who say that they are independent or have their own stuff and can take care of themselves. No one wants to be inherently weak, but not everyone can put effort towards becoming stronger (handicaps, limitations) or achieve the same as someone else. If being physically stronger won't help you much (for women in most cases), then you can learn to… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/04/21 03:22 PM
[Q4All] Why do women simultaneously like being "strong" women, but also enjoy being physically small, dainty and weaker than men?Let's be honest, women generally ARE physically weaker than most men. That doesn't mean we want to be treated like dainty prey animals. In general, people can never be physically taller or that much bigger than someone by working out. I'm 5'7 and I can never make myself taller, maybe only more athletic and muscular if I work out. However, people CAN learn to become better or smarter at something. You can earn status and respect and knowledge but your body will always be relatively the same. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/04/21 02:57 PM
"I'm a 3/10 on a good day and have a bad attitude, so why do I attract losers?"My God, you guys are brutal. Yea, I am not a man so I can't say I'd personally date her but if she changed her attitude and lost some weight, she might be fairly not barf inducing. I've also just seen a lot of ugly people so maybe she doesn't look AS bad to me. The kid thing though, ugh. The last pic is really awful, surely she has a better body photo than that cheap looking grandma mumu. I'm sure you'd be surprised at the amount of men that may still have sex with her but she'd consider those g… | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 13/04/21 11:36 AM
This sub talks a lot about low value males, but what about low value females? What are they like and what do you think their life is like? What are my options if my main "low value" traits is that I don't have anything going on (not working and not really doing too much) but I'm okay in the other categories? I'm normal weight, reasonably attractive and well groomed, no children (although I am in my mid 30s), and whether I'm crazy or not I guess is subjective lol. Maybe get some bonus points from some guys for being Asian, good at cooking and into video games with a high libido? But yea otherwise I won't deny I am lazy and not finan… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/21 05:05 PM
| -3 | The reason why some women claim looks don't matter that much is because they subconsciously characterize certain physiological traits as a man's personality rather than a part of his looks.I've seen "attractive" people who definitely seemed stupid, obnoxious, and/or boring before. You can find someone attractive without being attracted to them, aka appreciating the good looks of a model but not necessarily wanting to have sex with them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/03/21 02:07 AM |
