Thanks for sharing man. Everyone has their battles and demons, some have it worse than others. This is a very humble reminder to me that no matter what I've gone through, someone else has gone through worse, and they can heal too. Me and 500+ other people thank you for taking the courage to share your story.

This thread is amazing. I just started a new job at a smaller 5 months ago. Excellent benefits, 10k more/yr, good people/attitude, good hours. The problem is that I am so fucking bored. When I was interviewing this was my go to answer for things I didn't have experience with. State something I had experience with and how it relates. I didn't even know about trip when I was interviewing but many strategies over lap in both. I'd say 90%. I had this weird confidence boost after I started getting good at interviews. Now I'm here wanting to keep the good times rolling.

I actually got a job squarely because I knew someone who knew somebody. Went through a revolving door of interviews. I work my ass off at work but that's not something that translates to interviews. Everyone is a hard worker. I'm a part of an organization that has about 150 people in it. When I mentioned in the interview that was my hobby, the interviewer asked me if I knew someone. Turns out it was a good acquaintance, not even a friend but we were cool. As soon as we figured out we knew the sa…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
