Everyone has own opinion about situation like this, but this is how I see it: You had to give up on your dream because of his feeling of security. Because he wants to be COZY, regardless of your feelings. What he really gave you in return? Are you really happy? Since you have this question, I believe you are not. Men, as protectors by nature, need to give women feeling of security, not otherwise! What about your future kids? I am sorry, but he is just using you because you are so convenient to h…

Of course it is nice to have some savings, just in case. If something will go bad, you always can come to live with your mom for a few months, so I don't think that having an own house is necessary, unless you can buy it right now and just rent it out. I would suggest to take some classes for something that you like (nail design, painting, etc.). Start doing something that you like. Develop a hobby that can bring money, when necessary. It also will help you to continue develop as a person. One m…

And that's why I said that when getting married, couple always can sign a contract , which will protect both if spouses from any disaster. Seriously, it sound like a cowardice to me. I won't get married because it might end bad. Yeah, probably man with a thinking like this doesn't deserve to have a family on a first place. You are forgetting issues that woman can go through, if she had kids, but their dad isn't her real husband. And again, I would never be with s man, who thinks like that . Prob…

First of all, if people are getting married, there should be love and thus trust. I agree, sometimes life can be unpredictable though, and for these cases, there is always such a thing as a contract. Being partners without marriage is unacceptable for me , but I can understand if both want to feel protected.

There is always opportunity to grow. To provide for the family, man always will find a way: find another job, take some classes, read some books or articles, open a business - anything. You just need to help him to believe in himself and if he is indeed a responsible man, who wants to be a protector and provider for his family, he will find a way. Men can do anything, when they want it, when they know that their woman NEEDS it and when they have faith ;)

For me it is unacceptable. My man has to be my husband. This is commitment, this is real family, this means to me that this person really wants and plans to spend rest of his life with me and that my kids will be legally protected. Maybe if I would be 50, I wouldn't mind to just live with a partner. Not there yet, so don't know :D for now it is not an option

I will try to be short, even though this can be hard to do. 1. You need to be a good partner in life, not only in bed. Try to be positive and give this positivity to your man, then he will love and value you much more. No sexual flames will shine if man doesn’t feel appreciated and his wife sounds like virago or a noisy old lady. 2. You can’t become a needy slave. Real woman also respects herself (as well, as her husband) and does not let anyone to use her as a floor rag. If you won’t respect yo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
