She was on depression meds when we got married but shortly after she weaned herself off. That was like 2 years ago. I think COVID and winter SAD have made things more difficult than usual for her. Also both us and our closest friends both moved 15 minutes in opposite directions so now its an hour round trip to hangout instead of a few minutes. Her parents and adopted sisters are moving over an hour away too. Her best friend she grew up with lives less than 15 mins away, but there has been lots o…

My situation isn't simply "my wife isn't doing what I want her to do", at least not completely. She is also unhappy with her laziness at least somewhat as she calls out her own laziness. We also have sex frequently, 3-5 nights a week, sometimes multiple times a day on the days she is home. Perhaps procrastinator is a better description than l…

I was being facetious about inviting a bunch of people over just to shame her into cleaning, though that is one of my goals this year, to be more active in the community and invite people over. She knows and has agreed it is her responsibility to clean the house because she has 2 days off from work, she just always has an excuse. She does have a history with depression, and per the advice pastors and mentors in the church they said I just needed to be patient so I have tried to be. Perhaps a bet…
