Trust me friend, it's the absolute easiest under 21. You're literally forced to be around tons of similarly aged people at school Monday-Friday and most of em haven't heard most of the pickup lines, know how to work kino buildup, or even really understand shit-tests. It only gets harder from here friendo, practice your approaches!

Its not that they like to be ignored. They hate to be ignored, but are typically either a)interested enough to actually want your attention b)spiteful, or c)no longer around. Point being, they hate being ignored and will either strive for attention or leave to fond it elsewhere. Edit to add: establish a comfortable atmosphere, then pretend that you're busy.
