Maybe she won't do it to you again, but what about another man? It's like a woman saying 'Well yeah, this guy almost raped me but it's cool after I scared him off he won't do it to me again." and sure, he probably won't, but what about the next victim? It's not about vengeance, it's about putting your foot down and saying "You pull this shit, you deal with the consequences."
