Talk to a divorce lawyer ASAP and find out how you can put an end to the co-habitation. If you are home taking care of the household, and she is going out all the time, you might have grounds for asking her to leave. Make sure your lawyer guides you in this, so you do not screw things up for you in the divorce. The only way you will be able to start moving on is when you no longer share that space with her. I'm getting divorced after 25 years. Really should have done it at least 10-15 years ago.…

Be glad she did not stay another 15 years for the kids. Trust me, I'm that's where I'm at. You've got plenty of time to rebuild You.

You need to get the co-habitation part nailed down. You won't be able to really work on moving yourself forward (mentally, emotionally, etc...) until she is no longer in your space every day. After finally having an appointment with a divorce lawyer, I was able to ask my wife to leave by the end of January. If you truly prioritized being together and supporting each other’s experiences, then this does not seem like a divorce fueled by negativity (if that makes sense). Mine refused couples counselling because she said they would just side with me. Being the male, I actually believed I would have a harder time having my side seen. We have two adult children, plus my daughter's boyfriend living at home. My STBXW is the only one of us not in counselling. Many of her stories about what I did and didn't do have been altered to fit her need.

Finally getting divorced after 25 years. Should have done it 10 years ago, but I stayed for the kids and for whatever hope I kept finding when we were not fighting about stuff. The only reason to stay is if you both go to marriage counselling. If she does not agree, then that's your answer. If she does, then that therapy will determine how you both should proceed.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
