Ya that's not a thing. Moms deserve their day as much as dad's. I prefer equality over revenge.

Did you read the article? She sent the pictures to one person. A adult. Somehow those pictures got out. Many people send nude pictures.

Why is homosexual behaviour a bad thing? Are we advocating for men's rights or heterosexual rights? Because gay men are still men.

This is a great idea.

You are correct, this is exactly what they believe. They think they should look unkept to "teach men a lesson" but getting upset with them just proves their point. Let them learn their own lesson when they are in their 40s, alone, childless, and finally dolling themselves up and begging you for a lay because they haven't had a man touch them in 5 years. Don't waste your time yelling at ugly people, use that time and energy to hit on the attractive ones.

Oh trust me. I get the word gymnastics that so many women use nowadays to shame people in to feeling bad. My point is "punch up not down". Don't get your panties in a bind if a woman wants to look unattractive. They will act like children under authority and want to rebel more. Save your energy for when they are actually shaming someone. This meme is just saying "look ugly" and if someone wants to actively look ugly, well I'm not their dad, I can't tell them what to wear or how to look. They are…

Shaming is wrong now? Like fat shaming? Do you see the double standards now? It's the same double standards that these women use on us. They can shame me all they like, I date the women I want to date.

They are memes. They don't seem harmful to me. Stupid and based on little to no logic, yes, but my feelings aren't hurt is a woman decides to dress or act a certain way. They are not forcing me to put on a dress and cook, so what do I care?
/r/MensRights15/08/18 06:00 PM

So don't take women like this on dates. If one says "want to grab a drink?" say "NO" then walk away. No one can change your preferences.

I don't think they are saying that they are entitled to a man. If a woman chooses to look or act a certain way that the general public finds unattractive or undesirable then they just lower their chances. No one is forcing you to marry these women with a gun to your head. A true flip of context would be "Men don't have to work" Men don't have to be masculine" "Men don't have to have short hair". And if a man chooses to be like this because that is how they are comfortable, so be it, it's their c…

I have the same situation and feel your pain and fear. I had my son full time for the first 8 years of his life. All of a sudden I had child protective services at my work asking me to talk to them. My first thought that went through my head was a correct one, "she plans to take me to court for custody". I met with the officer and they had no idea why they were called. They were called on me another 2 times. By the 3rd time, the cpsa officer didn't even need to talk to me, she knew exactly what …

It's the recent change of trumps "0 tolerance for immigration" that was announced recently.

It can definitely work, but the issue is the 2 governments, USA and Mexico. There is no way they would be able to come to a come to a agreement anytime soon based on their history. It falls in to the same reason countries either want to become, or don't want to become part of the EU, or countries that are part of the EU but want to leave. The concept is a great one, but it does have its flaws, mostly having to do with currency and population issues.
/r/MensRights28/05/18 10:27 PM
12

The issue with your logic then is short sighted. You can move freely within the confines of the EU, but if I as a Canadian wanted to live in those confines as well, I would need to go through the same process. Your union won't let anyone in without proper process much like other countries.
/r/MensRights28/05/18 10:19 PM

I don't find it that "short sighted" as this has been the law for a long time and there is no sign that these laws will change anytime soon. Canada is very immigration friendly and will most likely remain that way for a long time coming. Granted, most dont want to move to my area of Canada as we have the largest temperature swing in the world from winter to summer, but they are still welcome if the process is followed. Not even the EU has it perfect. Yes you can travel from country to country wi…

I never said they were born illegally. I said they were born to illegal immigrants. Their birth within the boarders makes them legal citizens. I have no issue with immigration. My grandfather and grandmother were immigrants to Canada. It is the illegal immigration that can be bothersome. There are laws and processes in place to go through to become a legal immigrant. They are there for a reason. I can't just waltz in to another country and expect to get a job and use the resources there just lik…

Yes I do agree that this could have been handled in a much better way. But this is a recent development so there is still the possibility that they will still do that. At least let's hope. I couldn't imagine being separated from my kids.
/r/MensRights28/05/18 09:29 PM

Well no. Most Americans are legal because they were born here. Same goes for the children of illegal immigrants who have their children in the USA. The children are legal immigrants but the parents still have the threat of being deported.
/r/MensRights28/05/18 09:27 PM

I think the reason for separation is similar to if I were to do something illegal. They wouldn't put me in jail with my kids. They wouldn't put my kids in jail because they did nothing wrong except following their parent. There is a process to processing illegal immigrants seeking asylum, but I feel like because of the recent influx of people crossing the borders, they probably have a backlog of paperwork and need to place these people somewhere while the process takes place in order. It is much…

And they probably were hidden camera shots. I would hide my footage as well. But I wouldn't dox someones name that one day I may be fighting along side. It's a breach of trust, and on the field, if you can't trust your fellow soldiers, they are not going to lay down their life for that person. Does this girl deserve to be in the army? No. She is weak and a liability. But publicly shaming a soldier to any civilian with the Internet is in bad taste and in line for punishment.
/r/MensRights07/05/18 04:39 PM
1

No they shouldn't be. Those videos do not show the face and name of each private for the sole purpose of belittling them. Plus video posted online of soldiers during training, by the commanding officer must have approval to be shown to the public. That's where the illegal thing comes in.
/r/MensRights07/05/18 03:26 PM
2

Then do so without stating their names in the posted movie. And if his superiors don't think anything of it, and their superiors don't think anything of it, then fall in line and recognize that you are out ranked. What this person did was illegal and should be treated as so.
/r/MensRights07/05/18 03:16 PM

Filming his trainees, posting it online with their names to publicly shame them. While serving, people have been locked up for a lot less. Yelling, belittling, putting your troops through hell during training is all regular exercise, but posting it online for the sole fact to make that person feel small is a breach of trust within that division and I would not want to serve beside someone so selfish.
/r/MensRights07/05/18 01:40 PM

Yes but do you think he did when he posted it? I think I read somewhere that he posted her name as well, but I might be wrong on that.

I mean filming his unit at their weakest and posting it online.
/r/MensRights06/05/18 09:40 PM

Why is this under men's rights? A instructor was filming trainees during exercises and posted it online. He is a discrace to his division and should be discharged.

Well you are partial correct about my sexual orientation, with the exception of me not being a angry closet person, but I have no clue what that has to do with anything. We are talking about the scouts.
/r/MensRights03/05/18 04:39 PM

No one is stopping them from being this way. Like I mentioned in other comments in this thread, I grew up in a coed scouts. It's been that way in Canada for over 40 years. The introduction of girls didn't change anything. We acted just as we would any other time. We rough housed, we heckled each other, we challenged each other. If a girl wanted to join she was welcome to do so, we didn't stop being boys just because a girl was there. If anyone, girl or boy, couldn't handle it, our leaders never …

Well I'm not a closet homosexual, I'm a open bisexual man. And if you don't think the term "man the fuck up" (which I never used) or pussy are appropriate then obviously you have never hung out with a group of boys when you were a preteen. These are common terms used by boys who hang out with other boys. It is a direct result of the exact thing you are fighting for.

Because I don't think I should shield my children from other children? If you want safe spaces, join tumblr and vote liberal.
/r/MensRights03/05/18 03:16 PM

I do have kids. I don't need to protect them from the opposite sex. If my son wants to hang out with boys, he goes and hangs out with friends who are boys. He can make his own decisions about who he wants to be around. If he said "I don't want to be in scouts because there are girls" then I wouldn't force him to go. This movement isn't about forcing girls to hang out with boys and boys to hang out with girls. It is about making sure our daughters who, if they choose to, can learn about knife use…

Are you really suggesting that we need a "safe space" for boys? I don't think anyone needs a "safe space". If your boy can't emotionally handle girls being around and needs safe spaces, slap a dress on that kid and home school him, because that kid is a pussy.
/r/MensRights03/05/18 02:51 PM

I have to agree. I'm in Canada and since I started when I was a little lad, we have always accepted girls in to our group. It was never about being boys, but about learning survival skills, learning respect and responsibility for nature and others around you, as well as many other skills and activities. If a girl wanted to not hang out with a bunch of princesses who want to sew and sell cookies, they were welcome (we were a rural group so tomboyish girls were not uncommon).
