3	Ex-Wife didn't show up for our son's school Christmas party... Again This is/was my ex too. When I confronted her about it, she said the kids were privileged enough she didn't need to be there. When confronted by the kids she tried to blame me and convince them(and others) I was 'keeping her from them'. -1	Why aren’t we even given a chance? It's not all women, she had issues. Just like you do, just like we all do. As time went on your two sets of issues became incompatible for her but not you. That sucks. Her not getting over her childhood trauma means she wasn't ready to commit to anything long term but did anyway. Learn from that for future relationships. Women have to think of their own safety and will avoid direct confrontation. You, in an emotional fit of rage, could easily end her life on accident without any weapons.
