“…you just do it” makes me think - don’t think about how, ie don’t hesitate, just be authentic and act as soon as the impulse to do so occurs to you. It’s the pause to think about it just after the idea comes to you that’s the killer.

I think it conveys a great sense of humor. I predict it will get you some matches. Made me laugh.

Disagree. It’ll make someone laugh and swipe right.

Why do you think she’d be offended or you’d establish a poor reputation? What would you do that’s offensive or that people would look down upon? Act on your feelings? If people look down on you for acting on your feelings you shouldn’t sweat about gaining their approval or keeping them as friends, those people suck. Or maybe the threat you’re scared of doesn’t really exist. I do understand the fear of losing a friend but I guess you’ve gotta ask yourself a few questions: 1) What would you regret…

Glad to help my friend. Just focus on the things you can change and work on accepting the things you can’t. You don’t have to like them, but you do have to accept them, at least for now. I was balding too in my 20s, maybe just cut the cord and shave/buzz your head, you’ll look like a badass, like me ;) You can work on your posture and health, can’t fix balding but you can shave, and just own the white hairs, no one else judges for that, try not to judge yourself! Best of luck man, sounds like yo…

Yo- take a deep breath. You could be at the depths of despair but it will not last forever. Here’s your new mantra: one step at a time. Figure out one thing that you can do that will help you and work on just that. If you can accomplish that, pick one more thing and work on that, and so on. Just one thing at a time. One step at a time. Eventually each of these steps will compound and you will be in an entirely different place in your life, BUT, it will take time, and action. Be patient and be pr…

Don’t ask a girl on a lunch date lmao. What is this a business meeting? The real question is how do you feel after she says no? Are you angry at her? Are you embarrassed? Or are you totally secure with yourself and realize if she thinks you two aren’t a good match she’s probably right? Or do you think she’s wrong and that you know better—that you actually would be a good match? Ideally you feel secure and trust her decision—in that case you say, “ok no worries.” And shrug it off and move on with…

Bruh. I promise you this is easier than you think. Just say “hey, what’s your name?” and you’ll be in a conversation. Just be present, be curious, and cut it short after a min or two. Then next time you see her you can ask her about something from this convo or just ask her how things are going. She’s cute but make sure you’re actually interested in her once you start talking to her. Dig in a bit.

Pay attention to your thoughts my friend. You want to meet and engage with women and have fun but here’s what’s playing in your head: “My looks are holding me back.” “I’m average looking.” “How can I possibly compete with people who are hotter than me?” You are quite busy repeatedly judging yourself, making predictions, and comparing yourself to others so it’s no wonder you’re struggling with women! There’s no room in your mind to really see them and engage with them with your authentic presence…

Just be authentic and next time you chat with her, when you’re about to leave, casually yet confidently say (in your own words) “hey, I really enjoy talking to you, give me your number, [pull out phone and open phone app to enter number] let’s grab a drink soon and we can talk more when you’re not busy working.” Probably good to give a warm smile here if you’re feeling it. You can hand her the phone or just enter her # yourself. The worst case scenario is she’ll just gently say something like, “…

It is an answer to the question and I thought to respond with the same recommendation. The book does a really good job of getting the concept into a man’s head that you are not going to attract every woman and that you should focus your energy only on the ones that demonstrate high interest in you. For me, this idea was liberating and helped a ton with the issue OP was referring to. I would also recommend the following: - The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown - Models by Mark Manson - No More…

Just make sure you’re not performing. Don’t try and guess what will impress her. Stay true to you and be comfortable with the risk of being rejected; and if you are rejected, don’t take it personally, she just wasn’t available or right for you, totally to be expected. Approach women you think are attractive, that you honesty want to get to know, and tell them you think they’re super cute (or whatever term vibes with you) and ask them to grab coffee with you (or whatever low investment activity y…

I’ve read a few of those. Charisma Myth is super practical, one of the best, most actionable books I’ve ever read. 3% Man made me a.m.p.e.d. after hearing some of those things for the first time. But to be honest, I’d skip it in favor of Models, which I’d never heard of until your post. I finished it on Audible in 3 days and have already been re-listening. This is the book I needed and I’m so grateful you posted about it. I’ve recently read The Gifts of Imperfection and that might be the best bo…

Read Models by Mark Manson and make it your bible. Read it multiple times. Also read The Gifts of Imperfection, perhaps before Models. Also The Charisma Myth. All of these books are HUGE. Work on yourself, figuring out what you want, and moving toward it. And maybe see a therapist for guidance on this journey, they will call you out on your bullshit. It might be challenging, but it will help you a ton.
