Agree. While I freely admit that FGM is “worse” in many circumstances, I think that bringing up FGM is largely done as whataboutism to uphold misandrist activities in our culture. Really frustrating for “feminists” to be like “WE CANNOT STOP CUTTING OFF BABY PENISES IN THE WEST UNTIL FGM IS ENDED EVERYWHERE (including middle eastern countries we have little to no power over)”

Also a part of kink groups (cis man) and it’s really exhausting having to apologize for being male constantly, having to hear about how MEN are terrible, etc Still the most accepting group of people around so I put up with it. Something > nothing

FGM ranges widely, from completely removing the clitoris and several other parts to minor “appearance” modifications (barf). It certain cultures it is done explicitly to make sex worse for women

I totally agree, I’m trying to understand how women get it both ways

Okay, but this is all victim-blaming isn’t it?

Women project hard on men and assume that when a man says “I just want a girl” they also have a list of 400 icks, when that’s overwhelmingly a thing women do.

I would say I am reasonably handsome and I’m lucky enough to not have any acne problems that facewash can’t fix

I have become more effeminate over the last year as I’ve come to terms with my sexuality (pansexual) and coincidentally became completely radioactive to women in terms of dating.

This year I started putting increasingly large efforts into my physical appearance with 0 affect to how much women talk to me or approach me. I think the effort made me look even more even more homosexual to them tbh

It is technically left open to interpretation, but given how the original poster is talking about the situation, I believe they would’ve made it abundantly clear if he was trying to get in the Uber Uber at the same time as her
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 06:14 PM

My boyfriend is 4’11”, it’s crazy
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 06:14 PM

One time I stated I am 5’11” and a girl in real life accused me of lying. She is like 5’5” and can’t tell the difference. It took me standing next to and being visibly taller than the 5’10 girl for her to believe me. Very funny interaction that I still laugh about Sometimes I want to lie and say I’m like, 5’9 just to fuck up people’s perception
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 06:03 PM

There’s nothing wrong with OLD bro I get 20 matches a day because of my personality

She wasn't in any danger from the Uber though. He was trying to get into "her" uber with no idea that it was actually her's, because she isn't even in the Uber yet. She wasn't even harassed by him, the drunk guy literally just talks to her while drunk. Worst case scenario here, the Uber driver lets the drunk guy in and she loses out on some Uber money temporarily before requesting a refund from the support team.

You are supposed to be a perfectly stoic defender. You only engage in a fight when it is morally correct to and you also must be willing to do this at the drop of a hat. When you do fight, you engage in it with a calm willingness to defend without any hint of emotional engagement.

Also, all the crap they spew about "profiles lack detail" and "the photos are bad" is total BS. I got real advice from a woman about how to improve my profile and she told me 2 things: remove the photos that make me look gay (literally just my posture) and remove all information that's a "red flag." I started getting 6 likes/day until I found my partner and became openly poly.

But your example is completely different. Roe fell in my state within like, two weeks of the bullshit ruling in 2022. We have been together, having sex since April of this year. There is no rational basis for changing your mind now. I agree that they are acting emotionally, but I'm not giving them a pass. I'm going to give them time before I give them an ultimatum, but this has permanently damaged my opinion of them. If mean tweets are enough to affect our relationship this much, then I have ver…

I recently posted my Tinder data and the comparison between men and women is crazy. The average woman swipes 200x a day with a 7% right swipe rate. They have a 33% chance of matching when they swipe right, compared to a 2.5% chance for men. literally over a 10x chance of matching.

OK but I'm not Fuentes, you know that right? I'm not super chill with being lumped in with bad people who are the same gender as me. I don't care how bigoted people of a gender/race are, it doesn't somehow become morally justified to judge all people of their gender/race unfairly. Besides, I don't want Donald Trump controlling my sex life before he's even fucking sworn in.

Oh okay, yeah I'm not going to let myself be walked over because some people like me are bad. I'm not one of those white knights on reddit

Yeah I'll do that eventually, but now is a bad time to be throwing our relationship into further tumbles (finals week, they are physically sick). I'm not an idiot.

That's the question isn't it? But it clearly means something to them, as they no longer feel comfortable having sex in Trump's America. I think the "men are punishing women (including afabs ofc)" rhetoric is getting to their head, despite me literally being on their side.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 04:09 PM

Surely you think all the same of women then too? Since they also voted for Trump
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 04:03 PM

One of my partners (afab, nonbinary) has decided they no longer want to have sex following Trump’s election because they no longer feel comfortable doing it. We always have used 2 forms of protection, for context. Everyone in my family voted for Harris, I donated $50 and convinced my boyfriend to vote for her as well as getting him registered to vote.

That thread is insane. The girl is safe, she is waiting for her uber. Her uber arrives and the drunk guy tries getting into it alone. OOP starts trying to fight the dude over what...this girl's uber? That's the driver's problem, not OOP's and not OOP's boyfriend's problem! And she thinks he is a weak man for not defending the *uber driver*??? madness.

Exactly. I view women as equals and I live in a rowdy college town with a good number of people who are drunk or on drugs. If I were to try and save every stranger I saw having problems, I’d have no teeth left within a year from now.

One thing you find in the gender war debates is that women fully ignore any actually good points. Just straight up do not reply or pretend you said something else when responding
