A free one? not here in Idaho, Legal Aid will not help because the child was never in abuse or neglect or danger. Oh you mean file my self, yes I can do that, but the mother plans on making a circus out of it with tons of other complaints. Namely I kept trying to involve her in our childes life, good and bad, so when he misbehaved I let her know that too, and now she is going to try and use those things against me too. the DUI was just the door opener for her.

I don't think i can get her for violations of our custody agreement. because when we first broke up, and she dumped me and our child for another man, I got dumb and went to go feel sorry for my self, and got into trouble because of drinking (but not DUI), so it got stipulated into our custody agreement that if I ever broke my sobriety the mother can take our child until i file a complaint with the courts to get our child back.

well the reason I asked, is also because I don't want to end up waiting to long either. the courts are backed up here and even to get into a DUI court takes months. and I know if I challenged her now the judge will just tell me to wait till i am finished with the DUI court. esp since I will go to jail from anywhere from 10 days up to a year. Defenders are paid by the case, not the hours they put into a case, wither they win or lose, so they have no real incentive to pursue justice when they can make more money according to turn over.

Upon every birth, unless the father waves the test claiming the child regardless, a DNA paternity test should be mandatory, this way its not on the fathers head if the mother is feeling guilty. and after the test, if a father is found, then the tests can be trashed for privacy.

With her temper no wonder he lost interest in her as a wife. And when it comes to child custody court, better bring that prof and not just make accusations because judges see people laying to them day in and day out just out of spite of their ex and wanting to hurt them, basics attitude is if your not good enough for me then you are not good enough for our child too, when that is wrong. Perhaps they should make it mandatory that hospitals do DNA paternity testing on all newborns. which can only be waved by the father accepting full responsibility for the child regardless. (samples discarded thereafter due to rights of privacy -v- government or that of insurance wolves)

I do not care that most of you men say you would have liked to tap that when you were those kids age, so would have I, BUT it will never be right as long as the laws do not apply equally to and for EVERYONE. In my opinion the parties and sex isn't worth it, your there to try and educate your self, focus on that. the days of parties at such institutions is over, spoiled by those whom do not wish to take responsibility for their own actions.
