I think we all want to find a long term partner, it's just that the quality and size of the pool you have access to at 35 is way better than the one you have at 20 as a guy. So then you start looking and how do you find if someone is compatible for an LTR if you don't date them? and you won't likely find the perfect person right away, so you date more people. Now that you have actual options you don't have to settle for a bad partner, you get to actually look for a good long term partner.

I don't understand some of the users of this sub with this perception that the only/best way to meet new women is through dating apps? I'm a 31 year old guy, I have dated and gone out with many people, not a single one of them has been from a dating app. It could be someone I met in a class, someone I met through work, a friend of a friend I meet at a party, someone I met in a karaoke bar, someone I met in a dance class, someone I meet in a coffee shop, hell I met someone by vaping outside of a …

Your wild oats should be sown by now. You're 35. Grow TF up already! Sigh... I (31m) can tell you that this perception is skewed by you being a woman. Men and woman get to be wild at different ages and the attention you get is different. I've date more people and had more casual sex in 30s than I did in my early 20s. The things that make you attractive as a guy are different and usually come later in life, so while a women getting to 35+ had usually 17ish of attention and relationships and might…

Ive come to disagree with this take because a lot of times it’s women realizing “hey, this thing I’ve been doing hasn’t been working for me, I’m going to be more selective and careful with partners so that I get someone more worthwhile” To me it’s the same as if a woman got offended/turned away because a guy married twice before really quickly but it’s taking his time getting to know her and dating before proposing, it’s not that he loved/lusted after the other women more, maybe he just realized…

And how do you propose men find out if a women is compatible with them without talking to them and going out? You go out for a drink, figure out if they’re compatible with you and then you decide wether you want to keep going out with them. I believe a mistake would be trying for a relationship with every women you ask out, it’s like a job interview. It’s as much about figuring out if you’re attracted to them as it is about figuring out if they are attracted to you. Ideally you are introspective…

How long have you been talking to her? Is the conversation going serious? are you willing to relocate/do a LDR? I would maybe plan a friends trip (or on your own) and visit, so you can hang out a bit while you're there and see if theres chemistry. I would suggest not making it a "im flying to stay with you for a week" but actually visit the city and have plans with the extra being you get to hang out with her a bit, much less needy that way and less of a chance that if the fling doesn't work out…

Go work out, get a better haircut, well fitting clothes (doesn't have to be expensive), improve your posture, etc. Theres plenty of things that you can do to improve physically. work on the things you can and don't focus on something you cant do anything about. Theres plenty of short guys with ugly faces that look like a million dollars because they are confident and take care of themselves and their interests Honestly though, I haven't seen a picture of you yet but just reading your comments yo…

I think he means that a lot more men have been on fights than girls. Im talking punching and kicking fights, not hair pulling. Sure, they arent pro fighters, but they have been on a fight.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
