You're right. Later on, I did recognize that the explanation was unnecessary. Call it my naieve sense of fairness to offer a truthful and reasonable explanation and an opportunity to see my point of view. "Will she be reasonable if given a reasonable explanation?" I should have known better than to ask that again. When I realized that she was doubling down on it I just got fed up. My reason for talking about the meaning of initiative was a shot at her frame. Left to herself, she literally has no…

The timing of this is perfect for me. A few days ago I got my first sign that I was internalizing a more red pill mindset in my interactions with my ex. She is very solipsistic and instinctively expects others to share her motivations and act accordingly. I had a situation that once again forced me to choose between her convenience and my priorities. This time I chose wisely. I was supposed to drop something off for our daughter in the morning before work (nearby but in the opposite direction to…

I think your comments were fair and objective. You came across as someone who loves his sister. I think the criticism was unnecessary. What does being a family member have to do with an honest assessment of her qualities and flaws? Just because you love someone, it doesn't make them a special snowflake. Recognizing that doesn't mean you love them any less.

Attention whore. She's the only one that waived her right not to be identified. This was the plan all along.

Feelz are the whole problem here. I totally understand the emotions behind what you're contemplating. I would love to dish you some sweet justice to people that have wronged me. BUT. . . if you're the new boss and start off by wielding the hammer of retribution for past personal sins, by FIRING them, you will out yourself as a vindictive person and will immediately cast a shadow on the way the remaining employees perceive you. You have a bigger responsibility to these employees than to nurse you…

Don't let power get to your head, and don't be a whiny vindictive bitch. Let them dig their own graves. Mentally wipe their slate clean and reset their asshole scores to 0. Shut down any shit they give you right away, especially if it's in front of people. Let them see that you won't take any shit. Start gathering legitimate data on their behavior and performance and if they continue to undermine you, you'll have more ammunition than, "They made me feel bad" to fire them. I would advise against …

That's what we call them here in Jamaica. See my first reply to this comment above.

Big up! I live in Jamaica. The Rent-a-Dread phenomenon is so real. I've seen countless big, middle aged white women walking around Negril holding hands with the most scrawny looking dreads I've ever seen. I once saw a woman with a female Rent-a-Dread. That was interesting to say the least. Also, we have another name for Chad Thundercock here. We call him Joe Grind. "If you nuh careful, yuh gyal might tek a visit from Joe."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
