Maybe. Just maybe, telling an entire generation of men that there is something wrong with the very reason for their existence might have something to do with it.

I’d say I feel attacked because it’s so relatable.

“That’s why Jan 6 happened” might be the hottest take on both men and Jan 6 ever.

Because we’re an easy target. We fight back, it’s toxic masculinity. We stay silent, we’re weak men. Society has set up a no win scenario for men.

Well if you take all incentives away from them, don't reward their potential hard work and tell them everything about them is toxic...

It’s fucking disgusting that a whole generation of people are being taught men are a threat. No matter what they are doing or acting. It’s demeaning to women and devastating to young boys.

One thing on the net that always stuck with me was a post about maybe a year back that said "if people actually took men's feelings seriously then Will Smith crying wouldn't be a meme." [paraphrase] Since hardly a day goes by when I don't see this meme or a variant of it, this has always reminded me that men are against the wall in current western culture and that modern feminism is more about revenge than equality.

Speaking as an eastern Canadian I agree which is frustrating for a number of reasons. The most frustrating being our aged uneducated population that just votes for whomever promises the most shit not paying attention to anything of substance. We flip flop so bad out here in the Maritimes it's embarassing.

And we both know that doesn't matter. Unfortunately there is a growing majority of people in the country that value wokeness over stable policies and common sense.

No of course I didn't. But this is just a completely false statement and it's wrong.

If you CAPITALIZE random words, it MAKES your argument more CONVINCING. Most of the internet in one sentence. I agree with this whole post. Disgusting.

Welcome aboard! If you are anything like me you probably need this sub more than you think, if nothing else just to bounce ideas and feel supported. I am having a real issue right now with my wife - while I love her more than anything - she has swallowed the left wing Huffpost/Buzzfeed pill and since I have also recently left the Liberal party (Canada) because of constant virtue signalling and general craziness, basically everything I say is wrong. We have had a rash of suicides in our small cit…

My wife and I often have discussions or even arguments about how hard I can be on my son [10M]. I'm strict, but fair and I am trying to teach him all the life lessons that I never got from my father. I often reference headlines like this when these discussions come up. I have to be hard on him, while still showing him he is loved because this is the world he is going to grow up in. A world that hates him because he is a male.

There has to be some way to get funding. Maybe a less mainstream funding site, or crypto? I will admit I have never participated in a crowd funding project and I am fairly ignorant on rules, regulations etc - but I would get behind this anyway I can. Stay strong brother. Edit: clarity

If a man did this they would create a new term of “non physical financial rape” and he’d be in jail.

I don’t know what is more hurtful. The fact that knowing the high rate of workplace deaths are men makes you “rape apologist,” or that simply bringing up any concerns from the right hand side makes your a “rape apologist.”

Keep up the good work boys! My son and I were out getting body wash yesterday and we talked about why I don't buy P&G products in a civil and respectful manner (because he is only 10). Keep up the boycott and have conversations with your kids or other men in respectful terms that ads like this are not OK.

Thank you, as I recently had a discussion with my wife over one of her female friend's daughter wearing a shirt that had this slogan. My wife thought it was great, to which I replied "but how do you think it makes your son feel?" We have a daughter as well, and I am glad that she will grow up in a world where she can do anything, but I don't want this future to come at the expense of my son. Queue the fighting. Thanks for arming me with knowledge for round #2.

No man I haven't. I have looked into the shave butter that Harry's & Dollar Shave Club sell but haven't made the jump yet. Where did you find the soap? Grocery store/Pharmacy or like a speciality store?

I received that honour last week - on a very respectfully written post without cursing/hate/etc. I am very proud.

Haha, I just commented on a post that was ranting on all the atrocities that women have endured over the centuries that if we are really striving for equality we should also mention men who had to go to war, or work in unsafe conditions to support their families, or men slighted by biased western courts with regards to child support/custody..... It didn't go over well.

Proof again that you can use trendy social media driven causes and base the "morals" of a movie around it, but at the end of the day if it makes money it will be made.

I'm sorry but this whole gender critical subreddit is a fucking joke and needs to go away. I don't like to make generalizations so I went to the main sub page and started going through other posts and they are all garbage.
