You are certainly right up to a point, but I wouldn't say it is the whole truth. The fact of the matter is that for millions of years, men and "ape-men" have had to worry about committing resources to raising offspring that might not be theirs (mother's baby, father's maybe and so on). That's why men are biologically hardwired to value loyalty above almost anything else, even looks. This doesn't necessarily translate into shunning 'women who were 'loose' during singledom, as we have developed so…

I actually feel blessed to be a male in this regard. If I genuinely found only 1-5% of the female population attractive, I don't know what I would do. I'd probably lose the will to eat lol.

I agree with the OP. It's not a woman's fault who they are or are not attracted to. It's not a conscious process, and they couldn't do anything about it even if they wanted to. Men take out their frustrations on women unfairly, but I wouldn't blame them for it either, as this is something that's very worldview shaking and hard to comprehend at first. Also, this was something only laid bare with the advent of online dating and social media, thus men lack the tools to think around this and may eve…

Of course we have natural selection, you cannot not have it. There are just different pressures at different times and environments. Say if there was some major upheaval, and starvation became a threat as a consequence, then women would favor a different set of characteristics in choosing a mate. Sure, looks and confidence will always be in vogue, but their relative importance to other traits is not immutable. If they were, then there wouldn't be distinguishable human races (or ethnicities if yo…

Why would it be embarrassing to admit you have never been that man? On the contrary, there is nothing more embarrassing than being so embarrassed about yourself you can't even admit the truth. And why tf would it be embarrassing for someone to never have been around somebody else so attractive as to elicit these reactions? That's bonkers lol.

Probably not if we are speaking strict biological attraction (ie, whatever gets your limbic circuitry going and blood pumping down there), but in modern day and age it should be. Firstly, even the high status males are mostly having kids with 1 maybe 2 women, whereas in the times our brains evolved to fancy certain features in a mate he might've easily knocked up 5-10 different madams. So it made no sense for a male to be picky, but now when your lineage really might rest on the combined genetic…

"No decline in females partnered with males with an educational level exceeding their own level." That's a very significant finding given current levels of female academic triumph, and the fact that the same trend of waning female interest was present even in equally educated couples.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
