Interesting. I wouldn't have expected any lesbians reading, let alone implementing TRP. At any rate, welcome to the club. Just remember the "there are no girls on the internet" rule, and you should fit in.

Ok. I reread the thread. You are right. But even if Mr X is a rapist, and you think Mr X is a rapist, you still can't call Mr X a rapist (in a slanderous libelous way), unless he has been convicted. I'm sure we all agree on this? Just a miscommunication. Btw, fuck those people who have downvoted you for respectfully disagreeing. I'm so sick of that "feature" of Reddit.

What's your point? If you posted an ISIS fighter's face on a poster with a huge "RAPIST" label, he could similarly sue you... Well, theoretically anyway.

Shutting the gates on one while allowing others in would be rather hypocritical, would it not? Hypocritical? No. That would mean I contradict myself. Unfair? Yeah probably. As national policy, I will accept unfairness to people banging on the gates if it protects my own citizens. I would be in favour of helping these people out someway (like safe-assylum camps), that doesn't bring risk to my own people. Group B will only raise the rapre rate in Group A's country if the people who immigrate actua…

Don't let me catch You complaining about erosion of due process or anything in that regard. Countries don't have an obligation to let people banging on their doors in, or give them any sort of process to begin with. Just shut the gates. At any rate, while what you are saying is true, it still doesn't negate the fact that allowing in people from Group B rill raise the rape rate in Group A's country. Group A shouldn't have to accept that, and have a right to blanket-ban whichever group they want f…

If they rape at a higher rate than the men from the country they are trying to enter; yes. Wall 'em off. Kick 'em out.

Yeah... I'm not in favour of the Boy's night to begin with... I mean, I technically agree that they have the right to hold one, but I just don't think it's a good idea... Same goes for girl nights. If you want a boyish un-feminized event, why not create an event with a pro-competitive, pro-stuff-boys-will-like agendum and just open it up to whoever wants to come?

They don't necessarily produce different results by themselves. They may offer different insights into problems that the government will face. As I already stated for clarity, offering different insights is a result of hiring someone. My question was: If I want to avoid a staff with multiple conflicting perspectives, can I discriminate in favour of a specific type of person or no? Your answer to that included "Depends on the position, and what the current makeup of your staff is. ". If my compan…

Not at all. I took the core of your argument, being that people of different backgrounds produce different results because they have different persoectives. (I am including "opinions they can bring to a cabinet/company" as a result of hiring them). If this is true, then certainly I should have the right to tailor who I hire, on race/sex/gender. Not everybody believes that a wide-range of perspectives is good for their company/cabinet. So if people of different race/sex/castes have different pers…

If that perspective is someone from a different socio-economic background, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc... Somebody tell me the rightthink before the Ministry gets me! Are people of different races/sexes/genders the same or different? If they produce different outcomes because they have different perspectives, am I allowed to intentially discriminate in hiring policy to bring more perspective into my company/team? On the other hand if I want less variation in perspective, am …

Not at all true. I've lived in Japan my entire adult life and am bilingual. You can definitely express unpopular opinions here. The difference with the west though is that it's not nearly as ok to be confrontational. This means there are a lot more discussions that end in "I'll guess we'll agree to disagree" than in the west. This is probably why ideas such as libertarianism and feminism can't grow here. You can't realy accuse the person you are actually talking to of anything. Telling men they …

You know, TRP is about recognizing the differences in the nature of men and women, and applying that knowledge to better your posiion in the world. While this does include the observation that women develop fewer hobbies and interests than men, you're taking it too far if you are claiming that "no woman likes fishing with her man".

Well, your intuition is shit then, because I think that breaking vows is a shitload worse than breaking an engagement. Nowhere did I say they are equal, either. Once again you falsely attribute beliefs to me. First, you accuse me of being a feminist, then as someone who equates engagement and marriage. I have said no such thing and if you cannot argue in good faith, then I can't really continue this conversation. The point of engagement (from my perspective), is a promise to marry. It is basical…

That is certainly true. At any rate, good discussion. I didn't expect it to become so heated, but that's the internet for you hey.

I'm sorry that you can't see that all of those points aren't mutually exclusive. "A fuckload of women break their vows" "Don't promise to get married if you aren't sure" A man can simultaneously hold both views. If you're going to accuse me of being a feminist because I have a different persoective on what an engagement means, then we can't rationally discuss anything.

She has been left at the alter of her wedding, because her fiance (who promised to marry her), flaked. I didn't try to elicit sympathy, but I honestly do think her situation is sympathetic. Also "demonization"? You don't think that's going a bit too far, for calling someone out for breaking a promise? Maybe it's a matter of perspective, but I have always viewed the engagement as the beginning of the marriage, and the wedding as a mere formality. Because why commit to something that you don't pla…

If he didn't want to go through with it, he shouldn't have gotten engaged in the first place. That's all I'm saying.

All I'm going on is OP's post, so I have no idea what happened. The guy could have had good reasons, or he could've been a flake. Generally though, if you aren't 100% committed to getting married, you shouldn't get engaged.
/r/TheRedPill18/10/15 08:39 PM

I'm on the other side of the fence here. Is an engagement not a promise to marry? Do people not owe what they promise? She probably only has a few good years in her left. If he wants to pump and dump, then he doesn't owe her anything; and she can waste all the time in the world with him. But to promise her a marriage and then bail at the wedding (barring the possibility that he found her cheating etc) is a shitty thing to do. The guy is an asshole.

The comment you point out is in the redpill subreddit and it has been upvoted, but the comment is about how he won't waste energy on unattractive women. While I'm sure many more red-pillers than blue-pillers would admit to this, it has nothing to do with red-pill theory itself. Remember, the theory is that 1) women are naturally hypergamous and will branch-swing if conditions are right. 2) women will be with a man for either genes (alpha) or resources (beta), and many women will use infidelity t…

It's not even money he earned. This newly-acknowledged pile of cash is no indicator of how clever or motivated he his. He simply had real lucky grandparents. Still though, it makes her see him in a different light. This guy winning the lottery changes how she views him as a person. And she is still deluded enough to consider herself 'not a gold digger'.

So you have a career woman versus potential stay at home mom. Both are 23 years old. I think the point is that the 23 year old looking to become a career woman isn't about to settle down and have kids.

I get what you're saying. We're just saying it's not worth the risk. So we stay away from women at work. Women are free to avoid us too, if they feel so inclined.
/r/MensRights02/10/15 02:43 PM

Bad men aren't the same risk. Look, noone here is saying that women are worse than men, but what we are saying is that women currently hold the sword of demacles over us in the workforce. The best way to avoid the risk is to not engage.
/r/MensRights02/10/15 02:18 PM

You develop a method to distinguish between these good and bad women, without any risk. Then we'll talk. If a woman turns to lesbianism, and stays away from guys because she thinks they are dangerous, that's her perigative. Similarly if men avoid women in the workplace for fear of a lawsuit, that's his perogative.

I'm sorry. I can't agree with this. (That being said, it's nice to have a proper conversation on this website for once) Political power is, by definition, derived by force. The free market is, by definition, derived from the lack of force. Yes, as political power grows in a nation, entities from the previously free-market (corporations and banks) will couple up with the government for special privileges that the state will enforce and defend with force. It's very unfortunate that the free market…

Unless you are suggesting that the Chicago school advocates for government torture, then I hardly think it's fair to claim that they are to blame for union breaking in Chile (almost like you're suggesting Milton was whispering in Pinochet's ear to break a couple of legs for the economy). Also, "free market reforms at the barrel of a gun" is an oxymoron. He sold off tonnes of resources and infrastructure which the state had only controlled due to communism. One could argue that the government did…

Yeltsin further undervalued already devalued assets. The devaluation occurred during the Soviet Union. Russian industry was less advanced, infrastructure was falling apart and the environment was a mess. Also, the chicago school of economics is about not having the government control prices. How that is applicable to a crumbling government selling off infrastructure and resources, escapes me.

This is getting downvotes but I have to agree. All women are naturally hypergamous, in the same way that men have naturally higher sex drives, or are physically stronger or have better spatial reasoning. AWALT is about the nature of women, not the actions they take. All women have the same biological urges and nature. But that doesn't make them all shitty people. In the same way that men are sexually agreesive, but we aren't all sexual predators.
