I can't say I don't feel that way.

I think I am going to ask my daughter at some point if that is the case. I have to know.

You're right, thank you.

Probably unlikely but I won't rule it out completely. But there is simply no way that I would ever give her another chance given the carnage she put me through.

The kids live with me, my place is newer and significantly larger. Both kids have their own vehicles that I pay for. Yes the kids are very very tight with their mom. They adore their mom even though they argue and fight with their mom more than me. They are like different people when they are around their mother from what I can see and hear. I can't imagine how they act with her when I am not around at all.

I am seeing a therapist. I have not yet discussed the subject with my therapist due to time restraints each session but I plan to. Thank you.

Thank you. It is my home and my rules but on this particular subject I feel like I have been made to feel as if I was somehow being unreasonable.

Thank you. Everything that you said is perfectly reasonable and it is what I have done in the past. And at first there was compliance, but over time we find ourselves back in the same place. And if I protest (indirectly) I am made to feel like I am crazy (ex-wife, daughter) or being unreasonable and their is nothing wrong with this.

Thank you for that! Because I feel less crazy after reading what you said because I do feel that way. Even though we have been divorced for so long she is extremely comfortable with me. I am not fighting her off my bed with a stick and quite I honestly I don't think she could handle having sex with me from an emotional standpoint. I think it would just mess her up.

Thank you for sharing. I have a strange theory about this. Her visits seems to become more frequent when she is in a situation-ship. I've known this person for so long and I just know her. I don't ask about her life but she talks a lot, takes phone calls from friends on speaker so sometimes I overhear stuff, and she tells my adult daughter stuff which finds its way back to me. It feels to me that the visits are less frequent when she is single and more often when she is in yet another doomed sit…

Same boat here, I caught her in an affair and it was just a mess. I never had to pay alimony but I paid a good amount of child support for twelve years. That's over now, and she does not have source of income. I frankly do not know how she survives. For the most part I handle her visits the same way, I just go about my business and let her do her. I don't ask about her life.

Thank you for responding. If she goes away for good and never shows up again, would I be okay with that? I never thought about it that way, but yes I think I would be ok with that. However, at this point she is not listening to me so even if I told her that she would just stay away for a bit and then do the same thing all over again.

Thank you so much first of all for trying to relate and respond. No, we do not sleep together and I have no intention of doing so. She does mildly flirt with me but only when encouraged by others. For example if she is facetiming with a friend and I happen to walk by and say hello the friend will make a comment about my appearance and she will respond; but never directly to me. Does your ex-wife at times bring forth a negative energy not just coming from her but pull it out from the kids?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
