Same problem with me, I went to a party a couple weeks ago and while I was gaming pretty well, it was a senior graduation party of a grade of about 130 kids and maybe half of them got invited, so everybody knew each other for all of highschool already and I didn't know anybody. I was really popular at the party, but I couldn't get any of the girls to think specifically of me.

I dunno man she might just be trying to see what kind of place you pick. Do you think she'd be impressed by some cool genre of food (indian, vietnamese, thai) or maybe she is trying to say you pick so that she can see what kind of spender you are? I'd play it safe and go for a nice place but one that isn't ridiculously expensive so that you don't come off like you're trying to impress her, you just come off like you don't fuck around with your dinner.

Having just come out of a really long committed relationship, I'm probably just biased, because if some guy was hitting on my girlfriend, first of all i'd be pissed, and if she was acting like this chick was I'd feel like shit.

Interesting strategy, but if it doesn't work out, then I have essentially just told her to fuck off and now have gone from very little chance to no chance of hanging out with her. Any other ideas? I'm down to try that one, but i'd like to try another first that is less risky.

The problem with that is I have parents who let me have parties at my house, as well as I have gone to school with the same 200 kids in my grade since 3rd grade, everybody seems to know each other too well to have any sort of mystery at all.

I did get head from one other girl during this, otherwise, not much luck.
