When I mean is that you should let her know that you like her. This way either she will like you back because she does but didn't know if you liked her (you have to make the 1st move), or she will not like you back and in that case you can go on as friends. If you don't do anything, the girl will either assume you're there to just be friends or you're too scared to say anything.

For sure, I will be making the music much lower as that is a common complaint. For not investing into others as much, you have to invest in yourself first through things such as working out, doing better in school, working on a side-project, starting a business, etc. You will have fun pursuing things you enjoy rather than trying to please others, and in turn more people and opportunities will come around.
