I think that depends on who initiated the divorce.

Did you guys actually read the article? It seems more complicated than just a plain old double standard. I would actually side with the woman in this case mostly. If the guy keeping that job would effectively result in both of them getting homeless, then it's simply a stupid decision. The part where she gets all 'either my career or a divorce' I can't side with though. That just ridiculous. But all in all, from a budgetary point of view, it would make total sense for the woman to keep her career…

That's actually not that bad of a term.

You know people who do the judging can change their behavior, right?

I agree with the fact that judging someone by their height is complete and utter bullshit. But I disagree with the meaningless phrase in the last picture. They're just empty words which do NOTHING to change anything about the situation. Those meaningless words are like a painkiller: it helps cope with the symptoms, briefly, but does nothing for treating the cause. Edit: typos

Except in this case, the guy didn't ask or requested those photo's in any way, according to the article. It's a very scary thing if this is actually how it's going to be. Don't like someone while you're below 18 (or whatever the age of consent is)? Just send them some pictures and off they go. That's just ridiculous. Edit: made a sentence a bit clearer.

99% chance that girl now Has PTSD. I wonder what the sentence would have been if it was her father who was taken to court.

You do know you can just check an article's sources yourself, right? In case something seems a bit fishy.

And so it seems like it doesn't really matter all that much whether or not you hire the best human for the job. It's much more important that it isn't a man. Honestly, I completely agree that a mixture of men and women results in a different atmosphere that just men (or women). I absolutely prefer that mixture. But this isn't the way to deal with that imbalance. It's just treating symptoms.

Basically not only when you know the other person doesn't want to have sex, but also when you could have known, you're punishable by law. That means, every time the other doesn't explicitly say "yes", you're breaking the law. This completely opens the floodgates for everyone who changes their mind , say, a week after the act. Also, this will make false legal accusations insanely easy because "not guilty until proven otherwise" basically goes straight out of the window.

Man, aussie media are weird. I think there's something to say about her standpoint though. In sports it's rather normal to split up men and women, just because they're not equal. Just like how the build of their bodies are different, in general. So what I'm wondering is: if it's already so normal in other sports, why weren't men and women in this race already split in the first place? Just to be clear, I don't support the way this was achieved.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
