It's really a pet peeve of mine, but 'bias' is the noun and 'biased' is the adjective. You used the former when you should have used the latter. The problem arises because, unless one tries, one stands a good chance of pronouncing them almost identically.

Ok, one of us is clearly not understanding the other. I'm fully willing to admit if I'm not understanding something here. But, I don't understand how what you wrote could apply here: The fact that women receive callbacks a significantly higher portion of the time could be due to applying to jobs that they are over-qualified for in general, being less likely to apply to jobs they're under-qualified for, or any number of other reasons. when these are fake applications made solely for the experimen…
