I would add one's parental infidelity with an increased prevalence of cheating.

OP thought she'd be different THIS time around OR had sunk cost/scarcity mindset. That's your pride spinning dat hamst wheel.

Hopefully, a lawyer can get the charges dismissed before it ever goes to trial. If curious (for shits n' giggles, of course...not because you have a "problem"), avfm has a database of rape based judicial opinions.

Even then, the evidence although inadmissible can be used to rebut the veracity of the witness: "impeachment" in legalese. You will probably be charged for violating an illegal recording/wiretapping statute (if the case got to trial stage).

How many times in your lifetime have you used the bathroom? I like this game. Marriage 2.0, not so much.

That's all well and good. But what's 50% of nothing? This is where asset protection comes into play.

Why would palimony apply in a non-common law marriage state?
/r/TheRedPill13/04/15 09:25 PM

Non-attorney spokesperson here. My understanding is there is usually a minimum threshold in order for lifetime alimony to be applicable. CA has a minimum 10 year requirement. Alimony is usually negotiated, most family law judges have no problem honoring that agreement. But the other side digs their heels in, you may be in a world of hurt.

I concur with the cohabitation agreement if you suspect there may be possible property disputes when the LTR dissolves.

Child support is for the kid, although there's no telling what and whom she would spend your money on. Common law marriage only exists in it's current form in about 5 states or so.

IANAL. This isn't legal advice, but this situation can be effectively avoided with the help of a trusts and estates lawyer. If a premarital asset, e.g., stock portfolio, is effectively kept as SEPARATE PROPERTY, it no longer falls under the purview of a martial asset , a.k.a. community property. There are many ways to achieve this outcome, but the most popular would be 1)prenuptial agreement with separate accounting and managment fees, 2)full disclosure, no prenuptial, separate accounting and ma…

I read the same article this morning. It will be interesting to see the legal and social fallout from Jackie's story. Hammered home is the point that loopy entitled narcissists will move heaven and earth to gain some advantage, whether that be emotional, romantic, social, or financial. One thing that did stick out is that Jackie has lawyered up and is refusing to cooperate in the now-suspended police investigation.

It's hard to strike the right balance between all the competing passions in our lives. I'm glad you found yours, but the issue remains that Asian American men and women are not adequately prepared to deal with effects of institutional racism and white hegemony. My hope is you will take some Asian brothers aside and instill in them that they don't have to play second fiddle.

Bro, so did you bring her back into the fold or did she into hers? All kidding aside, whether you happen to be Asian or not, never stop escalating in life.

Thanks for the great work product. I feel I'd be remissed to mention your point 7 of prenuptial agreements regarding unfair advantage should probably require separate and impartial attorneys representing both parties. Otherwise, this is a great resource. Side bar worthy, indeed.

No doubt the official reason given will be the one you stated. But everyone's got an agenda. DA doesn't anymore $ wasted on a pos case for a misdemeanor conviction. ADA wants to run for public office some day and doesn't want to appear anti-woman or anti-victim. Detectives are told by higher ups to drop it and pursue worthier crimes. It's only when there are higher stakes that indictments are issue, i.e., that lady that falsely accused 5-6 former lovers and was sentenced a couple years back.

An alternative explanation for a non-pursuit of filing false police report could be stop gap measure. 1)It preserves additional police/prosecutorial resources from further being wasted; 2)Saves face of the duped investigating department; 3)Plays directly into the feminist rape culture narrative and rape shield laws. Oh, and also pussypass.

What boggles my mind is their admitted number selectively omit all "those who don't count:" -hjs/bjs/anal only -vacation hookups - hookups while emotionally fragile -hookups with under the influence -gangbangs. Better to gauge a rough number and multiply by five, err ten. Sloots gon' sloot.

If we're playing the blanket stereotype game, it is known that Korean husband's are no nonsense wife beaters. Better to blame the rise of standards (of living, availability of options, lessened stigma of interracial dating, etc.). Now pass the boxed wine, Todd. I need a drink.

So I take it that the divorce was uncontested? Did your lawyer negotiate spousal support? New MDs make like $120-180, right? Sorry to hear of your martial troubles, but at least it led you here. Women do not respect men who don't respect themselves. I've seen a similar result from an acquaintance couple where the H lost his job, feel into depression, and lost all frame. Their marriage is moving into dissolution filing phase. Sad.

No, dude. I think a more apt hypothetical is advocating being BB for Iggy Azelea after the wall, popularity, and nubileness of youth. Would any self-respecting white guy with semi-decent smv want that? Remember the focus here is for those men interested in ltr and not plates, as Asians are still traditionally minded.

Asian man here. I have to agree with OP that these racial hang up posts are cringeworthy and counterproductive for Asian men and the overall trp community. All we can change is ourselves. I would, however, like to see some underdog victory field reports from brothers of similar shade. I am here to learn to successful strategies. What are some niches that Asians have experienced success?

Ultimately, it will be up to Asian guy to accept that some cards will be stacked against him and act accordingly. Life and love isn't fair. Acknowledge it, but dont dwell on it. Definitely don't let it consume you. Victimhood isn't masculine and it certainly attracts no one. Just look at the visceral reaction in here. What the non-Asian guys in here don't realize is that some Asian American women have such a serious case of self-hate, she'll go nuclear if an Asian man deigns to approach her. Ema…
