Wow, did my ex find reddit? "I'll terminate my parental rights if you tell the judge not to make me pay child support." Keep in mind child support was $50/mo. I told her not to do that to our 14yr old. "When he's old enough, if he wants to find me he can." Judge took away parental rights, but not terminated so he still gets to see her, but I requested no child support. Then she never shows up to get him for her 1 day per week 9am-6pm visitation. This has been fun.

Wow, so I have to assume that during a verbal argument me getting hit means the child also gets abused. A child that was not mine, and I had no right to take her out of the house anyway. Also, victim shaming is a pretty shitty thing to do. I'm not bothered by it since it was so long ago, but to think the victim is the one who was putting the child through it is a huge leap. How about she just not hit others? How about she not call the police? If none of that happened, you wouldn't be saying the …

It's not just India. I was physically abused by my ex when she was pregnant with our child. I left so I could calm down and when I got back there were 2 police officers. She though I would come back to beat her, but I just wanted to work things out. She openly admitted to everything. Then they asked me if it was true and I said yes. I didn't think there was any reason to lie or hide anything. Turns out, the police have to take someone during a domestic abuse call. At the very least to separate t…

I worked as a bouncer at a local downtown club for a while years ago and those at the door would get shit like this all the time. We were paid $10 per ID to keep fake IDs. We would constantly get yelled at to give it back to them and each time we would tell them: "There's an officer right over there. Go get him and when they verify this ID as being real, we will give it to you." Officers routinely stood close because of city hall being so close, DUI arrests being popular there, and to keep the p…

You're getting hammered into downvote-hell, but you're not far. I went through a year long custody battle after having my son for over 5 years full time. 6 years prior to that it was 50/50. After faking going into a hospital in another state, filing false documents to the fact, and testifying to the same, I finally got a court order for her medical records and was able to show the court her drug habit. Instead of going to a hospital like she told the court, she went into rehab. Then lied about i…

In my state the only way the state goes after a parent for child support is if there is a court order. Birth certificate doesn't matter. Granted, if the "father" doesn't contest the judge ordering paternity without a test, then the order will go off of birth certificate. The state also does not go after a parent for benefits given like Food stamps, etc. Either way, the state doesn't go for child support unless the other party requests it. Source: I just got done with a really bad custody battle,…

/r/pussypassdenied This is a sub where women use the fact that they are a woman to do something a man wouldn't get away with. She did something a man wouldn't get away with, and got punched just the same.

What I’m wondering is, after Oakland used this strategy other teams started to do the same Exactly. Once one person/team realizes a certain method/technique/strategy is better, they all start doing it. Then it becomes boring and just a matter of luck rather than skill. You occasionally get the entertaining games where crazy things happen, but when all coaches' strategies are to not take chances, you don't see cool plays.

Unfortunately this is the same for the NFL. It's like a Meta has washed over the pro sports teams and everybody is doing the same thing, just with different players. Same major players for 10 years as well. I've found college ball to be more entertaining. Players are still messing up enough to make games interesting. Rivalries make cheering on your team fun. Players are rotated out every X years (max 4) so there is always a fresh new group that may take over. I will say Alabama keeping the champ…

After 13 months, I just nailed her on perjury. Hopefully this will be over soon. Moral of the story: when you get caught in a big lie you told a judge, don't make up another lie to cover it, then make fake docs to back up the second lie and tell the judge those docs are in fact real. How about just don't lie.

In divorce court you have to disclose everything. Any asset, property, income, cash, investments, everything. Yes, if married at the time of the winning draw, it is considered a part of the on-going disclosure and would need to be disclosed to the other party. Unless you have a prenuptial agreement, half your shit goes to the other party if not agreed upon. If it's property, it is to be sold and value split, or valued and one person keeps it while the other gets a credit. Of course anything can …

She got life with a minimum of 18 years. Meaning, she's not up for parole for 18 years, but if she never gets parole, she's in for life.

Life with a minimum of 18 years, means she has the opportunity to parole out at no sooner than 18 years. This doesn't mean she just gets let out. There is a process to paroling out and you may not be accepted. She very well could spend the rest of her life in prison. Not that she deserves to, she needs to be drowned, or starved of her meds.

I'm glad I'm not the paramedic who was trying to revive that little girl. I'd be sitting on death row (does the other side of the pond have the death penalty?) and would feel no remorse for my actions.

First of all, your argument started with "not at all" and has developed to only if both parties have agreed to a dual. The video we are commenting on goes against your recent comment. There was harassment and abuse happening and the man was stepping in to defend his family. One of the parties in the video are not a willing participant, so.... a man beating his wife can easily walk away at any time and chooses not to. By your definition here, I should just keep on walking. I don't need specific s…

Okay, let's drop the rape. Man beating gf/wife. You're not stepping in? Or are you specifically talking about two people yelling at each other, but not getting physical. It seems like that's what you are talking about. At that point, it's not a fight.. it's an argument.

I don't understand people who want to break up fights between strangers. Sorry, I guess you know the rapist or the one being raped? Or Are you saying you're friends with the husband/wife fighting? I suppose "strangers" means something different to you than what good ol' Webster has it defined as.

Dang. I see your point. The next time I see a man beating his gf/wife into the concrete, I'll just step over her and keep on walking. Not to mention that one time a woman was found in the bushes with her skirt hiked up to her waist crying her eyeballs out and screaming while a dude is getting ready to rape her. I suppose I should order my pizza standing right there.

Why split the kids up? If one is with grandparents, keep them together. These poor kids have endured enough, let them have each other at least. This is enough Reddit for me today.

Is that really relevant in this scenario? Absolutely. In a scenario where someone reached out to the police for protection, and they failed to provide that protection, it has been determined that they are not required to. It's unfortunate, but the courts don't care is a piece of shit kills you, the police didn't have to do anything about it.

Unfortunately, there has been a precedent set and there would be nothing done about it. The Supreme Court rules police do not have a constitutional duty to protect someone

The car show, Season 2, Episode 2: as at Eleanor nothing works, and it is a second can not be silent, Loginov came up to her moral test for 30-minute or 30 minutes of silence in the trunk. While the girl was silent, the other parties have allowed themselves heartily discuss it and compared it with the doll Chucky.
