An incalculable amount of possible people die every time a man jacks off. All that sperm could have been children so let's ban masturbation. In fact, because we can't trust people to make the best decisions for themselves, we should mandate vasectomies for all men so there's zero risk to the precious babies. Don't want to get a vasectomy? The same reason sperm is not a child and eggs are not a child, a clump of fertilized cells is not a child. The choice of when a fetus becomes a child has always been the crux of both sides of the argument. The difference is, medical consensus determines the point at which it is unethical to abort a healthy fetus, but pro lifers bafflingly seem to think the moment of conception is when there's a child.

Don't you realize how terrible of an argument that is? You're literally victim blaming. It's the same reasoning behind, "well if you didn't want to pay alimony then you shouldn't have gotten divorced/married." On top of that, forcing women into pregnancy to have a child they don't want has a direct and increasing correlation on the number of welfare recipients, crime rates, etc. It's not just wrong from a human rights perspective, providing access to sex education, contraception, and yes, aborti…

You're right. Because a fetus is not a baby. And there's no decision in it at all, because it's part of the risk of pregnancy which you seem to be ecstatic to force women into. The very act of being pregnant is a life threatening, life altering situation. Something you will never have to deal with.
