Did you even read my posts? I never said not being allowed to drive is a privilege, I clearly state that in Saudi arabia "women aren't give the adult privileges", which includes driving cars. I mean that Saudi Arabian women have child privileges but not adult privileges. While western women have both.

Okay? I've never said Saudi Arabia and others are not gender inequal, equal means the same, I actually made the point that in Saudi Arabia, women and men are treated very differently, which would make it gender inequal. I just agreed with some of the overall points in their post.

This is a common misconception about countries like Saudi Arabia. They have oppresing laws aimed at only women, but then they also have oppressing laws aimed at only men. It's not a question about whose the most oppressed but that they are both oppressed in different ways, it's a society with very tradionalist gender roles.

Not sure why you took my comment backwards, but yeah. The reason it's insane is, because like I said, men have been representing the highest demography of suicide for a long time. Feminists don't care about this, but now that female suicide has rised a tiny bit it suddenly is a female problem, even though males are 4 out of 5 suicides.

If this is true (and it is) then why does everyone think that it's the opposite? Ask anyone on the street who has the most privilege or whose lives is the easiest and 99% would say males. Things such as "males have life on easy mode" and "they don't have to fear anything" and "they don't know what oppresion feels like". It's just so mind boggling, I can't understand why :(.
