I like him overall, don't agree with everything he says but the people who are anti-peterson are usually stupid and/or zealots of some dumb ideology.

The same as any bad behaviour, dopamine dopamine and dopamine. Makes you miserable long term but short term massive dopamine feels great, just like drugs.

It's both to be honest, women leave helpless marriages they couldn't leave before but also don't fight as hard to keep a family together as they used to.

first time marriages that end in divorce is a lower number at about 33%. It’s not that bad as people think it is. Then if your non-religious, with a woman who's non-religious and promiscuous that figure skyrockets. Break down the demographics and you get a better idea of what's going on.

There's a difference between treating your partner like crap and actively deceiving them. People have no sympathy for the women who date people who are clearly shitty but stick with them until it all goes south.

It's a strange and dumb argument that someone's past shouldn't be taken into account when considering a future with them. It's applied to nothing else except for people trying to pretend that past sexual relationships have no impact on future relationship success in regards to women. If a man told a woman he used to beat his previous partners I doubt they'd look at it as "that was previous relationships that has no affect on our relationship now." Someone fucking everything they swipe on their p…

Don't think we need to pressure anyway we just need a culture change on having children.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 02:21 PM

The problem is the people who have the most kids are people who really shouldn't be having kids because they don't want the responsibility and aren't committed to eachother. See the single mother rate as an example.

It's the same thing with Special Forces and one of the arguments I heard from someone talking about whether women should be able to apply for the SAS, generally there's a perception that society sees women in body bags as far worse than men in body bags. It's the same thing for when there's a murder or an attack and it's in the news. It's a perception that exists across societies in the west for whatever reason it may be. It's always worse if the victim is a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 01:39 PM

I don’t see why this is considered a problem by anyone With an already ageing population not having another generation coming through will be a disaster.

Conscription in the United States ended in 1973, but males aged between 18 and 25 are required to register with the Selective Service System to enable a reintroduction of conscription if necessary.

I'm not from the United States but I'm fairly sure that if there's a forced conscription to war that it's only the men who are being called up.

One thing you can control and the other you can't. If you're okay with women saying only guys who are X height are datable don't be hypocritical and be against men saying the same with breast size etc. The reason this is an issue is because of blatant hypocritical examples people see.

I read once half of men in prison grew up without a male father figure, and it being something like 80% of violent crime offenders not having a regular father figure. Young boys growing up need male role models around them. My mother wouldn't have been able to handle me as a teenager by herself.

To be attractive to a good amount of men all a woman needs to do is not eat like a fat fuck. Compare this to men, who if you want the 8 pack beach look it requires years of strict diet and lifting consistently.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/18 05:00 PM

Because what women say they want and what they actually want are different. Same goes for men, any man saying he doesn't mind his partner gaining weight and becoming a slob is either a liar or a loser.

Women on average disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/18 02:42 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/18 01:30 PM

People are raised to believe the world owes them something now, women get a lot more sympathy in society than men so it works out more for them. Especially if they're attractive, they can coast through like comfortably doing fuck all.

Because strong, assertive, confident men have been idolised by women and society in general throughout history. ' Evolutionary psychologists claim that women prefer dominant partners because such men have superior genes. Evidence has shown that women prefer more dominant men when they themselves are at the most fertile point of their menstrual cycle, whereas most men do not similarly seek out dominant women. I somewhat disagree, from a male perspective I feel like I'm more likely to notice things in real life to make me interested over completely dismissing someone as easy as online. Just the sheer volume of potential candidates surely pushes the luck standard up too I imagine?

'Large number is not synonymous with majority' What does it mean to you then? 'You've been uncivil twice now so I will bid you good day.' "now you don't seem like a particularly logic driven guy." ''I can use shorter words if you need.'' You then call me uncivil and cry after i reply. You're hilariously hypocritical.

Interesting insight, I also moved to a big city and came to the same conclusions. One of the things I noticed very quickly was how women treated me based on what I was wearing (e.g. was I in a suit for work or jeans and t-shirt at weekends). I found it very mystifying.

Let's compare it with let's say...50 years ago. How many women are good partners? Less. I think this is easily visible in society. How many women are good communicators?
