My wife’s friend had her son around the same time as my son. She said that she had her son circumcised for his benefit. It made me so angry even though it’s not my kid. When we left I told my wife that she rationalized that as if it was her penis. Her friends exact words where “I did some research on Facebook and I did it because I didn’t want him to have any problems in the future when he gets older” WHAT SORT OF FUCKING REASON IS THAT???? I am angry about this even now

Haha I am not concerned. My name is already out there, and I own the company so it’s really no biggie but I see your point 😎 If someone wants to call my “employer” that’s fine, they will get me on the phone when they call Or they will get my business partner and we will be more than glad to tell them to fuck off

Some phones cellebrite can temporarily root and dump the data. Some phones we can gain direct access via the download mode. Sometimes it uses a modified twrp. I’ve run a debugger to see what is actually happening and I’ve seen various root exploits, I think one was called dirtycow. And sometimes it all fails and I have to install twrp by hand and root the device or just dump the memory via DD in terminal in twrp. Some phones we can’t use neither methods and have to pull the memory chip physicall…

They didn’t bust the encryption but rather get into a locked device. It might have been cellebrite who did it too. We use their tools to extract data from most locked android devices. Cellebrite can also break into most pre iOS 12.1 devices as long it’s a criminal case. There is also a new player in town called gray shift but iOS 12.1 also stopped them in their tracks. Here is a video of me using cellebrite to get into a locked galaxy s7 https://youtu.be/xldSnGbZMEY And vid of discussing forensi…

Depends on a company. Work itself wont take long but the report writing itself is where time goes. We charge in blocks of 10 hours. So a case like this would probably be 10x$350 plus expert witness testimony In court if needed in the future ($200/hr) There are companies that charge $800/hr for forensic work. FYI in this particular case, I am assuming they either got the data from iCloud or iTunes backup or some other source. Deleted video from an iphone cannot be retrieved due to encryption.

Not that simple. On the iPhone specifically there are 6-7 keys per file. Also, the header and footer is encrypted too so what exactly can you carve? Source: I work in a forensic lab. We use cellebrite and all other tools.

iPhone is encrypted so no carving. The data was probably recovered from iCloud or iTunes backup

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
