Can you please stop generalizing? What theory is bad?

Dude you are just naming things... What about those things? Like you don't think the federal reserve should exist? Ok, pretty classic Austrian argument. Krugman? What about him? Like his theories on international trade or just the person? QE, like you think it is a bad idea or that it doesn't work? Why do you think that?

Marx is a nut, but isn't the job of an economist to understand economics (incentives)? So if they do understand economics how could they be garbage?

Ok... so you don't like the idea of a distinction between macro and micro economics? Why is that? Other than that I don't really know what the article is trying to say. It's full of run-ons, which is pointed out by commenters on the site. Could you maybe say what about this article is meaningful to you?

I mean I pretty much describe myself as libertarian but wouldn't call myself an Austrian. I think he's just trying to fit into the circle he probably sees himself in on reddit. You can be libertarian and still agree with major points of Keynes

I like how you're citing Menger while at the same time saying Keynes is garbage. The real only difference is Austrians tend to not use mathematical models when describing economic theory. Keynes and Menger as well as Hayek would agree on a great deal of things.

No I mean in actual economic circles there is no such thing as 'Keynesian' economics. The guy worked on dozens of theories some more widely accepted than others. So I'm not sure if you're just hating on Keynes or if you have something specific from his research that you disagree with... 'Mainstream economics'. Again, I don't know what you mean by this. What about 'mainstream' economics don't you like? You're starting to sound like a contrarian for contrarian sake.

Keynesian isn't a type of economics it's a person. If you're referring to the AD model combined with Solow growth, then you basically are rejecting the entirety of economics.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
