Great book, I would also recommend it. I felt like it brought me back don’t to thinking about the simple things you need to do instead of massively overthinking and trying harder than I should be (hopefully that makes sense). Only slight gripe I have is that it feels like it’s not new

I have exactly the same issue, not great at thinking off the top of my head. But if I had a slight template to follow I'd do way better. As a result my social skills are really awful, but could be improved slowly I guess. If you figure anything out then please let me know

Defo bad advice. But he’s mostly right on the first part.

From experience, when they have their friends around they spend more time talking to them than you and often ignore you. If it's someone you want to date then it's not worth it unless it's just you 2 in my opinion.

Models by Mark Manson and How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie. Definitely those 2 so far, hoping to find more!

I disagree. I think the best thing to do is start small and work your way up. Start by asking someone the time, then ask and say a comment etc until you can flow into a full conversation without hesitating.

A little off topic, but I find that most girls are terrible at conversations online or over text. The answers are always so short and feel rushed which alwayss makes it feel like you have to lead or the convo will end quickly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
