Even if she was young and oblivious at the time, there's no excuse for 16 years of adulthood before finally telling the truth.

I've had to explain the definition of misandry on multiple occasions. That's how infrequently it is discussed.

It's understandable to not want women on the field, since they are on average less able to physically support their fellow troops. However, that's not to say they wouldn't be able to contribute on the manufacturing, logistical, or medicinal ends. Alternatively, just remove selective service all together, but whether that is wise is debatable.

I think the biggest solution to the issue is to just share your opinions in a logical and respectful manner. And I'm not talking about discussing on the internet; I'm talking about telling your friends and family about Men's issues. As for the end point, I think it's fairly unanimous around here: Men and women should be as equal as possible within the constraints of biology, including any and all responsibilities.

I think /u/War_and_Oates is more so referring to your very harsh rhetoric in your original post(as well as this one). I don't think that frequent expletives are a proper means of encouraging intellectual debate and education.

Wholeheartedly agree. I'm a man who doesn't pursue or desire sex much at all, and consider myself well motivated regardless.

That line was absolutely brilliant. I just lost it when he said that.

Not to mention that he implies that men can't be raped. Unbelievable.

Calling him a "fucking moron" doesn't exactly help your credibility...

Fair enough, and I think you're right. I guess that was just society's brainwash on me talking. But the rest of what I said I still stand by.

To say that there are zero bad parts of being female is a bit ridiculous. This post basically just tries to compare everything good about being female with everything bad about being male. It's a false equivalence. It also demonizes women. We should try to work together with women to create a society where both sides are as equal as possible. Men's Rights at the expensive of women's and Women's Rights at the expensive of men's are just as immoral and injust as the other.

I am honestly at a loss as to how any man can come to believe that women are not discriminated against and that men are in our society. You are mistaking us for masculists. I cannot speak for the other men of this sub, but I do think that there is definitely discrimination against women in society. However, what makes me an MRA is that most of society completely disregards any discrimination against men, which is just as prevalent as discrimination against women.

I lost my shit when she started complaining about women's supposed lack of reproductive rights.

This article is over two years old. There clearly hasn't been much progress over the past 2 years.

Yes, white males are a huge liability. That's why most major technological advancements over the past 600 years have been formulated by white men...

I've been confronted with situation countless times as well. I usually respond with the following. It's kind of a catchphrase of mine. "I speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. If people do something worth complimenting, I will compliment them. I will not compliment simply to give someone validation." Generally, it works pretty well. It gives me power over the situation and gives me a chance to show my eloquence.

Even here in the States, political correctness is rampant. It's an indirect method of censorship, especially in the media.

Still, he had a beta mindset in saying this, regardless of whether he was deliberate or not. It's a bit unsettling.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
