Well we're not all r/iamverybadass like you sir. Regardless of the person's size or gender they can cause damage by scratching at your face, eyes etc. She could have removed his mask and exposed him to covid. She could have had a knife.

In the U.K under common law you can use force for 5 reasons, one of those is self defence and you can strike first if you feel that you're about to be attacked. If you watch 'her' body language she looked like she was coming into hit him, I don't think it's fair that you have to stand there and get hit when you can stop them.

You are allowed to defend yourself and pre emptively strike if you deem your safety is at risk. She was coming up to him very aggressively and he did what he had to do to defend himself. Men and women are equal so she poses the same threat as a man.
