Like I said, I didn't personally say it was worse, but you absolutely cannot brush it off. If next week the draft was called, this entire situation would change. The fact that this COULD happen is insane. Just because we believe it won't, or are content with thinking it won't/can't doesn't mean we should actually ignore it and brush it off.

This kind of claim is so fucking ridiculous. The fact that it hasn't been used does not somehow magically negate the fact that it exists, has a purpose, and CAN BE USED. It needs to be done away with if it's never going to be used. The fact that I was forced to sign up for the draft if I wanted to pursue a college education is fucking retarded and sexist. Mens rights with regards to pregnancy are nonexistent, and I agree that it's an insane and enormous problem, but you can't just brush aside th…

I think he's a damn idiot to have a shirt on like that in a situation like that. It's fucking stupid, seriously. It's not just some random shit, and anyone who says it is is either straight up lying, attempting to cater to the masses here, or attempting to be PC in some way. He looks ridiculous. Now, if you want to talk about if he deserves or should have been treated like he was, no, obviously not. I would expect his colleges to be annoyed or upset that he wore a ridiculous shirt, but people ha…

I did, and I took care of myself and those I was with. Not all people are the same.

He never had anyones number at all. This is the biggest "that happened" I've seen on reddit in a long time.

That's nice an all, but having to live a life surrounded by these feminist things makes you want to correct them. The feminist "movement" or whatever you want to call it is fairly freaking big and widespread compared to anything here...

"Juan finally sent child support so i went and bought boots and got my nails done -" It's pretty clear that she got money because of child support and spent it on boots and getting her nails done. If she is so capable as to afford everything she needs for the kid and this money is so extra that she can just go get her nails done and buy some new kicks, than she shouldn't be getting the money.

People don't exactly love being told how much of a mistake their past mistakes were. It doesn't really sit well with most people.

I just don't understand how this pay is not monitored. I don't understand how you can't fight to not send money to her when she is clearly not spending it on the child. It's just so hard for me to comprehend.

I think this fits along the lines of fight fire with fire though. You can't go about it in a weak way and act as though you are going to win over the "Men rape and should stop!" crap. I only see something working when both sides are seen as even on this topic. Overall I hate all of the rape shit though, I don't believe in rape culture (not in America at least.) and I can't stand anyone acting like it's a type of person or a certain gender or anything like that, that is to blame. It's certain peo…

Why are people upvoting you? You really don't understand these types of situations at all.

Don't forget to put the fact that men being raped is just now started to be recognized under the law. It's part of the issue you are facing right now. Your essay couldn't be more relevant. Take this as high up as you need to as well. Don't let this teacher act like she can just make up grades. She can, but not to this extent. You very much can take this to higher ups in the school and get your grade fixed. It's actually a lot easier in a highschool setting too. Once you get to college it can be …

I don't believe that parental rights are equal, as mothers are seen to be connected to the children within peoples eyes. Not to mention there are just about no rights for men when it comes to anything prior to birth. As for everything else I'm right with you. Most of the time I feel as though I'm the only one that wants real equality where its reasonable.

Ripping off someones shirt? I promise that if this was actually females that it would be a far larger issue. Online and off. How is that even okay. It is assault of a sexual nature.

I think the issue is that OUR rights are as important as theirs. There is this push about rape and how men need to stop and it is far too focussed on men being some sort of animal that doesn't understand no. Scumbags and sick people rape others? Not the average guy.

Not true at all. Sure it means no if someone is putting there hand up and saying no, but when a girl giggles "no" as you are trying to finger her, and then she lets you go all the way, how was that no real? They enjoy sex with you but because they said no in a playful way, you were actually raping them? I don't think so.

Women can do that? Obviously a joke. I probably need to clarify, sadly. Edit: I just noticed that I said feel when I meant think. Either way though, I was not making a blanket statement that men can't have their feelings hurt, just that in the example given that it sounded off. Whatever though. I guess I'm some brillo of a man, as well as everyone I know. I'm obviously wrong in some way, check out those downvotes!

I actually found it really odd (makes me feel as though it's not real) to read the story about asking the "gentlemen" if he had any experience with it. Saying that it "hurt his feelings" to be called those names, even in a friendly way, really just didn't sound right. I'm not saying that I'm the best example of the average person, or even male, but it doesn't sound normal. I actually believe that he would have to be someone who had been picked on a good deal for him to actually feel that way. I …
