You're trying to escape reality and a romanticized past memory is your choice. Happens to all of us. Better try to fix your present or change it. If you can't/won't deal with it, you will make your current bfs life hell.

I think we should mention some guys don't want to commit because they're unsure of where they stand in all this mess, so they don't want to disappoint the lady

Being a man, it was once unclear to me. Yes, girl and her state don't matter if I'm not in position to commit. I think it's universal for all men. Being in this state depends on many factors. Handling relationships in this state is more individual. Some will take a 'loan' from their future self, or make a 'bet' (on themselves - which is pretty common, who better to bet on than yourself, after all, if things go sideways, we're fucked anyway, can at least say we were 'trying' ). These moves are sp…

It seems like he might be channeling most of his energy into work at the moment, leaving little for personal growth in other areas. I prefer this approach to work-life balance as well—immersing in a single pursuit until achieving the goal, then gradually incorporating the new situation into the broader scope of life. Assert whether his decreased attention to other aspects of life is temporary. It's possible that he's feeling exhausted by work, which is a common challenge in maintaining work-life…

Talking about sex beforehand also accomplishes a lot of OP's goals. Firstly contributes greatly as foreplay. Secondly opens up an 'erotic wishlist' conversation. OP manifesting desires indirectly communicates to SO he too is allowed to do that. Works with me. And thirdly, communicates desire, basic but still valuable.

If something happens out of the blue it usually means you're just uninformed. I wouldn't necessarily trust everything he says but 'it was a long time coming' doesn't sound like out of nowhere. I wouldn't judge him for not telling you what it was. Maybe he has some personal preferences you just don't meet and it's pointless to even tell you about it at this point, if he's already made up his mind.

The message is: Are you his partner or his employer? Are you two partners, helping each other experience and grow. Or are you both policing each other to fit some archaic rules you follow but don't understand?

Why is this comment downvoted into the ground but VasiliyZaitzev's comment is not. Is it because he/she has a flair? Surely not! Why not downvote the mod? She said the exact same thing as me and Zaitzev: "Treating your partner like another human being who has agency and rights in his own life IS an RPW tactic. Browbeating a man into doing what you want is NOT an RPW tactic AND it is a good way to lose respect. "

Are you okay with your own feelings about this? Are you following a framework of thought or all these are your convictions? You can learn a lot about your bf that you'd never learn if you're both just blindly following the rules. Why would your bf not watch girls in lingerie? Are you actively hindering his development? He's constantly in a process of self discovery and calibration. I don't think imposing rules you don't understand helps any of you. The two of you don't need to be together after …

I see. So a good personality<hot ass.If a man's priority is a hot ass, then yes, ass > personality. Who are we to set other's priorities. Again, it depends what everyone is looking for. (...) Be discerning and choose wisely, ladies! All we know about the girl in OP's post is that she can't attract guys in a club. Why are producing an irrelevant abstract story that is not related to the topic? we also realize her personality has to be that way to make up for the faults that got her fatHow is this…

As I see it, from the little information you provided, you're trying to marry early cause (enter reasons), but you don't actually feel it's the right guy, just some pieces are right (money). So you're thinking: "I'm gonna marry him for money (nothing wrong with that if you ask me, but apparently this isn't completely ok with you), but I'm not going to give him any real respect. He might or might not notice/care/complain in the future. My intentions are not sincere and I'm not telling him either.…

I guess how fat are we talking? We're talking as fat as the dude in question likes it. No ramifications to personal preferences. If it's a little chub, I don't see that as (...) Foodin the west is terrible and VERY prone to making people gain weight. I guess you're right, but how is this relevant? If you don't know the answer to the question you don't pass the test. You can provide a story explaining why you don't know the answer, but it will not pass you the test. It's just not relevant. Plus, l…

Im not going to speak for all males but I believe some, lots or even all (unconsciously tho) of us may reason that: Not being fat shows character, being fat shows the lack of it. If you ask me, it's a pretty obvious personality flaw. Personality, intellect, other features are developed as an answer to a need. If your fat friend has great personality and you believe it's a positive quality, we might think so too, but we also realize her personality has to be that way to make up for the faults tha…

Reading this post like: 'Monkey trainers, my monkey is really nice does the dishes and groceries, the only problem is I can't get her to back flip on demand. I may be too demanding but honestly other monkeys do the flip when asked. What is wrong with my approach?'

Solution 1: Don't do things you don't want to do. See what happens. Solution 2: Run a mental experiment of not doing what you don't want to do. See what happens. Decide if you want to face consequences of not doing these things. Who knows maybe consequences are pleasant and its a good deal. If the decision is yes 'do things for him', it means its now your choice and it's better than the alternative. Now every time you do those things you're happy because your doing what you chose to do and there…

I love how this is a RedPill Reddit and still most commenters here jump on the 'conclusion' wagon having no regards for the fact that OP's story is a typical one sided story. She told you what she wanted to tell you so she could hear the answers she wanted to hear. Not trying to accuse OP, just wanted to make things clear.

Damn that's actually a pretty good comment. It could have been more precise and to the point if you put some effort into It, but I get what you're saying. And you're saying it cause you're feeling it so it's all good. Nice read, hope it helps our OP

Well that is how I go about explaining things. Obviously higher perspective is more complicated and involves things like childhood environment, social constructs, personal bias, emotions, spirituality and other metaphysical, mystical areas. Obviously I left those aside. Reason: following the basic model would ignite a spark that would shed light on basics and lead to more advanced concepts. Like it does for me.

Well I was thinking something along: I. Start here ("Try becoming a wife material"): you want a husband, one that you'd be happy to be a wife of, for it to work you want your husband to be happy with you as a wife, for it to last Satisfy step 1: To achieve this you'd have to imagine what kind of characteristics your future husband would have to represent, so you'd be at least on an "ok" level of interest. That would be your basic model of a husband Satisfy step 2: Your "ok" model of a husband, a…

I'd say you can't truly know a person you play games with, or who plays games with you. Sex might be the end of that game, or just a different stage of the same game. I believe OP's end stage of the game is sex, since he's not interested in a relationship, and the girls he's banging know it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

We eat the same food, we have the same brain structure, we're a part of the same day/night/season cycle. Those rules do not apply? Sir I think I'm don't until you do some basic existential check. Too much first world for you.

We are superior. I didn't state otherwise. We're Windows 10 to our ancestry's win 95 and animal's dos, mushrooms would be machine code. Same rules apply. Just more complicated solutions.

This doesn't apply to animals just because animals don't think far ahead, because they don't form complex concepts. Just because we do form them, doesn't mean the rules of the game are different for them and us. The process of rationalization exists because we've learned the concept of self and past, so we rationalize "self's" actions in the past.
